"Now then." He gave that same smile. "What is it that I can help you with?"

She scuffs her foot a little, looking at the desk. "....They said you help people as fallen on 'ard times," she says, her voice low.

[CalamityJade]

The man gave a bit of a chuckle. "I have been known to assist people. New Avalon can be less than welcoming to some and I hope to correct this." He leaned forward, resting his hands on his desk. "But how can I help you?"

She looks at her lap. "....Got nowhere to go, see."

[CalamityJade]

"That IS dreadful. What happened, if you don't mind me asking."

~Okay...there's...still almost no Pulse in here, but he looks...normal...but why the hell does he keep creeping you out?~

~...it's super creepy. And  I don't want to end up like that dame on accident, either.~

"...just... wasn' welcome at home no more."

He gave a bright smile. "Ah, problems at home...well, I can understand that. Now, I know there are plenty of places that would allow you a place to stay. A roof over your head and food to eat...but that is not why you are here I gather."

~he'd have to do....somethign to you. I'm not sure what, but if it has to do with the light inside you, I'll see it.~

T scowls. "A little more'n problems, but yeah, more or less, 'm on my own now. They said you could... fix it."

Mr. Harrox gives her a look over. "Hmm....I'm sorry, did you mention who referred you? I try to keep in contact with any and all that I deal with."

She shakes her head. "I didn't."

[CalamityJade]

"Then...do you mind telling me...how exactly you came to know about my business?" Man, he's good at giving that same smile.

~T, something's wrong with this room...I...can't see what it is, but something's different...did any of the walls move?~ That was....a bit odd.

"...I dunno if my friend wants her name said, issall." she says, sullenly.

"Oh, believe me. I am Very Confidential with information. And it helps when I check in with them to make sure everything is still alright." He leaned back slowly into his chair.

[yamikuronue]

"..Yeah well. Can you help or not?"

[CalamityJade]

"...well, of course. Though it will take at least till tomorrow to set up something more than temporary. In the meantime, I can make some arrangements for you to have a place comfortable enough for the evening. Is that acceptable?"

~Right...this guy is also starting to give me a bad feeling. Something about him seems...different. I don't know how he 'fits'~
