"Sometimes that is all we can do." She gave a nod. "Well, everyone might as well come over here. The door shouldn't open for a few minutes and no one can hear us outside of this room. It is a Sanctuary, after all."

"...the door?" asks T, staying right where she is.

[CalamityJade]

Mordrianna turned towards T. "It should be sealed for some time. For now, we are save to speak... You also should realize that I am no threat to you."

[yamikuronue]

"I hear that a lot," says T, still sounding skeptical, her back to the closed door.

[accalia]

"That leaves the question begging to be asked." Sam says, approaching from the door slowly His voice low and questioning "Are we a threat to you?" He doesn't intend the words to be a threat as his tone clearly indicates.

Mordrianna frowned a moment before smiling. "Ah, I misspoke. I meant that I was no threat to her in particular, though I do hope not to be one to any of you." She turns towards Sam, looking momentarily sad. "I apologize, but your assistance is needed."

"It usually is when I get involved with things. It's one of the downsides to being a Private Dick." Sam says, sliding onto  the pew beside Mordrianna.

T creep down the aisle, reluctantly.

Erika nods. "How can we help?"

[CalamityJade]

Mordrianna gave something of a smile.  "I can see how you got into the situation you are in now, but thank you. I need your assistance in locating her father." She indicated in T's direction. "And stopping whatever it is he has gotten entangled in."

"Lo-- you can find him?!" T's voice is hoarse, but her attention is fixed instantly on Mordrianna.

That comment gets Sam's attention. Finding lost people is a heavy skill. if this pans out he'll have to try to get consults from this Mordrianna in the future.

[CalamityJade]

"Unfortunately I cannot in this case. I can tell of his existence and of those connected to him, but his actual location I cannot find. It is why I assumed he was in danger and sent you on the way to find him." Mordrianna gave a sad smile. "As well as defy his wishes, but that can be an argument he can make for himself once he is found."

T slumps, her face falling. "So you don't know anything either."

[CalamityJade]

"I said that I could not find him. There is much to know about him, yourself, and the city, but that does not help him. I know that you three CAN find him, and I will help with that as much as I am able to, but I know there is no path that I reach the end of that will find him OR help New Avalon." Mordianna looked a little sad at whatever thoughts had come to mind. "But I believe this short respit can and should help you all with this."

"Don't give me that shit--" starts T, but Erika puts a hand on her arm.

"What do we do?" she asks.
