[Hammer Sister]

"You say you've experienced that sort of thing before; was there anyone you talked to about it?" Rob asks once he and Erika are outside.

[yamikuronue]

"Just Mr. Harrox," she says, quietly. "He said it would happen whenever I'm in need of another charge up. I'm to call him right away."

[Hammer Sister]

"Then let's not waste time; where's the nearest payphone?"

[yamikuronue]

As soon as one is located, Erika's dialing the familiar number....

[CalamityJade]

It rings a couple of times before the familiar voice of the secretary picks up. "Haddox office. Who am I speaking with?"

[yamikuronue]

"This is Erika Stark again."

[CalamityJade]

"Of course, Miss Stark. One moment nad I will patch you through."

There was a pause for a few moments before the line picked up again. "Ah, Good afternoon Miss Stark. How has your life been treating you?"

[yamikuronue]

"Grand, until today." she says, pointedly.

[CalamityJade]

"Well, well...someone seems to have gotten rather prickly. I imagine that you are saying something is the matter?" There was another pause before he came back. "Ah, I imagine you must have had another one of those terrible episodes, then?"

[yamikuronue]

"I'm sorry," she says, immediately, with a bit of a sigh. "I'm just really nervous about the whole thing."

[CalamityJade]

"I understand very well, Miss Stark. It is a process that we hope to fully refine. Now...there is something else I wish to ask about. Is the detective there with you? Oh, and please refrain from alerting him. I'd rather not let on too soon."

[yamikuronue]

"Affirmative," she says, trying to sound casual.

[CalamityJade]

"Very good." Mr. Harrox seemed...rather relaxed. "Now, I imagine he's been investigating quite a few things...Would you mind terribly giving me an update on his findings later when you have some personal time? It would be rather helpful."

[yamikuronue]

"Um... sure, I suppose," she says, hesitantly. She can't really say no, can

she?

[CalamityJade]

"Grand. I've informed our technicians to the issue....and they're telling me that you've been QUITE active. Normally it takes a few more weeks than this before activities actively bring the city's attention that quickly. It makes a man wonder what you've been up to. Made any interesting trips today, Miss Stark?"
