An... energy weapon? Very unusual. But that at least explains the metal shards. But the amount of power required... I don't know.

"It's certainly sounds like an unusual gun; not heard of one like that before..." Rob reviews the notes he made about what the witness in the restaurant said. "There is another thing I want to ask you about: a witness described some sort of glass-like thing between you and the gunner; they said is was 'like looking at the side of a window'. But that doesn't make sense, as there was no glass at the scene. Could you shed some light on what the witness may have been describing?"

She shakes her head. "The light blinded me, and when I could see again.... well, I got the hell out of there."

~Wait...was that a bit before we started talking?~ And now her talking pet crystal decides to say something to her?

~I..sorta remember there being a really bright light and trying to cover my...eyes? Not sure what happened, but the light stopped and I was still tryign to figure out what was going on before I kept hearing all this shit going on in my head...which ended up being your head.~

"Can't say I blame you; I'd have legged it myself." Rob pauses briefly. "Just one more thing," he continues, pulling out the sketch of the patch he made while foiling the kidnapping, "have you ever seen this before?"

She narrows her eyes. "Yeah, but you were there when I saw it."

"So you'd not seen it before then?" Too much to hope for, I guess...

She shakes her head. "No way."

~Hey...there any chance that he's going to go away if he got some information? Damnit, what the hell is he even showing you?~

T closes her eyes a moment, picturing the symbol. ~Can you see that?~

~Yeah...that...seems important. Where did you see this kinda stuff before?~

She pictures the attackers. ~Foiled an attempted kidnapping.~

T is suddenly struck with the thought that she's kind of a hero now...

~That...those guys seem familiar...who were they trying to grab~ The voice seemed contemplative...but also troubled.
