As she rounds the corner, she sees him heading into the side door of the right building. There was a brief second where he might have noticed her, but he continued into the building, apparently not worried about it or not seeing her.

She hangs back a second before darting forward. Crap, interiors are harder.... she slips into the door, at least trying to see what kind of building this is.

~Are we waiting to get him alone?~ The interior was some sort of maintinance hall. Probably heads in from there into the interior of the building.

No, just... see where he's going. This could be a good place to hide a kidnapped person, right?

Cautiously, she starts moving into the building, looking around.

The internal area she's gone into had a bunch of pipes and a soft blue glow from the pulse lighting. They were probably hooked into the lines for the building that let the maintinance people work on whatever was down here. There were faint footsteps heading farther down the hallway and into a slightly larger room, so the best guess is that he headed that way.

~I guess...do you think he kidnapped your father?~

He might have.

She creeps along toward the footsteps, trying to keep quiet.

~But if he did...wouldn't that mean he had to be really strong? Every time you think about him, he's really strong.~

The room had a few objects in them, but it was hard to make out in the little lighting the room had.

Looks can be deceiving. He spars with the man, he'd know how to take him out.

She chews her lower lip, creeping a little further into the room.

~Well, did you ever see them spar?~

As she crept through there was a slight hum from the lines above her, supplying the small amount of light that kept the room from being pitch black.

~And why would his friend kidnap him?~

People are shit. That's like, lesson one.

As she got closer to the middle of the room, there was the bright flash of the lights going on at one time and then the feeling of something rushing past her. "You have some nerve, followin an old man like that!" The voice was gravelly and loud, and coming from where she'd just come from.

T, ever her father's daughter, reacts about as could be expected: she spins, dropping to a crouch, a knife coming out of her pocket and flicking open before the voice even begins speaking. She keeps her eyes open -- the better to adjust -- but stops paying attention to her sight, knowing it'll be useless for the moment; instead, she tries to guess by the feel of air motion and the sound of footsteps where her assailant is, keeping the knife between herself and his estimated location.

"Now why don't we see what the police have...Holy shit!" Her eyes adjusted rather quickly, so she was able to see the old man staring at him with a look of shock. "Theta?!"

~Alright, I think you're eyes should be okay. Are we under attack?!~

T lifts the knife, hissing a bit in surprise. Dammit, I've been made!

"You've got the wrong girl," she growls, keeping her voice unnaturally low and rough in pitch.

The old man seemed to start recovering. "No..yer...O's girl...Shit, does that mean you know where he is?!" Wait...he doesn't...

~Okay, I think I got how this can work....I made a shield before, so if he tries anything, I can knock him over with it~
