Go Down

yamikuronue

"...how?" she asks, dumbfounded. "Isn't it obvious? I mean, look at it!"

CalamityJade

"I AM looking at it, and I can plainly see that it seems fine." He gives a sigh. "I was under the impression that you wished to speak with me about something less aggrivating?"

Hammer Sister

"That is true, sir," Rob replies before Erika can aggravate his lead any further. "Is there somewhere we can go that's a little more private? As I said when we met at the ballet, I've been requested to keep my investigations as discreet as possible."

And then the murders began.

yamikuronue

Erika glances back at the machine, deflating. "...but I could have sworn..."

She shakes her head, letting it go. She must be wrong, that's all. It's not like she has any experience with machines before.

CalamityJade

And her mind is SURE there was something, even without her experience. It's...something like a gut feeling.

They're lead away from the display and into a back office of the museum, where Dr. Harrisburg sits at a desk. The walls are rather bare, but there's a large display case on one wall, holding a document of some kind. The script looks foreign. "Now then. What is it you wish to be so damn secretive about." As he sits, he takes one of the few things on the desk, a linen-wrapped object, and puts it in one of the drawers.

Hammer Sister

"I'll get straight to the point. The group that attempted to kidnap the Lady Mordriana had this insignia on their uniforms," Rob explains, taking out his sketch and handing it to Harrisberg. "I was informed you may be able to help me identify it, and maybe explain a little about its history?"

And then the murders began.

CalamityJade

Dr. Harrisburg takes the sketch and eyes it carefully. He seemed rather alarmed for a second as he turned the symbol around in his head. "Well, it's definitely old...something of an older design. Though I can't imagine where it's from." He looked back to Rob. "And you said they were trying to kidnap the fatespinner? Seems like someone's a bit superstitious"

yamikuronue

Erika nods. "It was quite a terrifying ordeal."

Hammer Sister

"We were both witness to the event," Rob explains. "That's where I made that sketch, and it's also why the GRD approached me to conduct the investigation."

And then the murders began.

CalamityJade

Dr. Harrisburg frowned a little as he looked over the sketch. "Humph. And they're the one sending you out here to interrupt my work." He gives the two of them a level look as he put the sketch down. "So, how is it you started talking to Gregory Roidmet?"

yamikuronue

"We have reason to believe this may be connected to the disappearance of Obsidian Roidmet," reports Erika, primly.

Hammer Sister

"We know that he and Mordriana met twice, and that they discussed, among other things, a specific exhibit in this museum," Rob explains. "Unfortunately, we don't know which exhibit, although we do know it was one of the older, more long-standing ones."

And then the murders began.

CalamityJade

He chuckled. "You've seen it. The big stone at the front. Some believe that it's part of the city's heart and that those that pass in front of it are Welcomed. Obviously hogwash, or we'd have many more patrons to the museum."

yamikuronue

Erika flinches a little. "It's impressive." she says, trying to sound nonchalant.

CalamityJade

Dr. Harrisburg smirked a little. "Come now. Someone seemingly grounded in logic could not believe that tale of the Architect nonsense."
