T scowls. "I'm serious. It got Rob killed, you'll be next. Obsidian Roidmet is dead. Better to leave it that way."

"You've seen the body then?"

[yamikuronue]

Her scowl deepens. "I know he's dead. He'd have left word if he wasn't."

[accalia]

"And to me it's a mystery. One i look forward to solving." Sam says pleasantly "Unless this is a threat?"

[yamikuronue]

"No," she says quickly. "But trust me on this. For your own health."

She starts to stand up, one hand in her pocket as she runs her thumb over her pocket knife.

And then there's that humming again. It's actually VERY similar to something she remembered. ~Finally! There's something in front of them that's humming. Do they hear it, or is it just us?~

"Well, i'm sorry you feel that I'm placing myself in danger here, but from my point of view i simply must solve this mystery. for my own satisfaction if for no other reason. I'm sure we'll see each other again at some point." Sam says calmly, it seems he's not going to give up so easily.

[yamikuronue]

She frowns. "You have something on you. Front pocket."

[accalia]

Sam frowns at that "You seem remarkably certain of that. How do you know?"

[yamikuronue]

She smirks. "Second-guessing your decision to throw out my advice?"

[accalia]

"I never threw out your advice, i merely chose not to heed your warning." Sam says calmly "And you're dodging my question, how interesting."

[yamikuronue]

"Are you going to tell me what's in your pocket or not?"

[accalia]

"Are you going to tell me how you knew i have a note in my pocket?" Sam asks in reply, answering part of her question with his own.

[yamikuronue]

~Apparently it's a note,~ she tells Crys. "No," she says out loud, scowling at him. "But whatever the note's about, or whoever it's from, you don't want to mess with that either."

"And yet it led me to you." Sam says smiling "And i can hardly believe you could cause me harm.
