T doesn't speak again until they've wandered downtown, stopping outside Roidmet Distributions. "You're so keen on helping, do me a solid?" she asks, without looking at Sam.

"I'll hear the request. If it';s nothing too extreme or against my nature..... sure, i'll consider it.

[yamikuronue]

"The boss' secretary, a woman named Erika. I need to talk to her. I can't go in there. Get her out here."

[accalia]

Sam thinks. "Just talk? I could work with that.... where would you meet her? and who should i say wants to talk to her?"

[yamikuronue]

"Tell her Ash wants to talk to her about Perry."

[accalia]

Sam nods, a simple message. "And where do you want to meet?"

[yamikuronue]

"Here's fine." she says, nodding toward an alley beside the building.

[accalia]

Sam nods. Well if she's trying to lose him, well she's gonna do it eventually. it's pretty plain that she moves better in crowds than he does. "i'll be right back."

He's given very little trouble in the building, being ushered up to the top floor via a fancy Pulse-driven elevator. Upstairs, there's only a few things on this floor; the lift opens into a fancy reception area, with a fishtank and a nice, large, roomy reception desk.

The woman behind the desk looks... tired. She has a fake smile plastered on her face as she looks up at Sam, her brown hair arrayed around her haggard face. She crosses her fingers on the desk in front of her, politely registering him with a "Good afternoon, sir, how can I help you?"

"Message for Erika." Sam cirps in his best "messageboy" impression.

[yamikuronue]

Her smile fades, a look of panic coming into her eyes. "I'm Erika."

[accalia]

"Ash would like to meet with you to talk about Perry" Sam parrots, it's not the message word for word, but the content is there

[yamikuronue]

Erika's panic recedes; she sighs, closing her eyes. "Alright. When and where?"

[accalia]

"Uhh.... Now, and follow me. If you are available?" Sam seems a bit nonplussed by that reaction why the panic? then why no more panic?

"uh... Alright. Just let me..." She pops up from her desk, jotting down a note as to where she went.

Just then, the double-doors behind her open, and a young man walks out. He is wearing a suit, complete with waistcoat and tie, but he doesn't look much older than her; maybe in his mid-twenties? He's carrying a leather portfolio and nothing else, but he carries himself regally, with that sort of confidence that only the Welcomed really have. His deep brown eyes study her from a handsome face, but his tone is light and casual. "Stepping out for lunch, Miss Stark? I'll walk with you."
