"Hmm... possibly because of the fever then? most remember something. Still it is of little import when the important thing is that you are well. beyond that all there is is mere curiosity."

Echo pauses and sniffs the air.

"it is perhaps time to check on those pies. we should not leave them unattended when they are destined for the festival.... They took a lot of effort to make and this one would not wish it to be wasted."

yamikuronue

Rosanna heaves a sigh, getting back up to her feet. "True. Siegfried'll be a while probably, if he's looking for the first aid kit."

accalia

"hmm, yes... Is that a common thing for the Young Master to require such services?"

yamikuronue

Rosanna makes a face, scrunching up her nose a bit. "Unfortunately. Lord knows what he's doing up there in that room, but he loves to bang himself up."

accalia

"That is troubling to hear... would it be improper for this one to ask if you would share more details about the Young Master with this one?"

yamikuronue

Rosanna tucks some hair behind her ear, bending to take the pies out of the oven. "Well ,sure, as long as it's not something fire-able. What are you wondering?"

accalia

Echo has been quite immobile for a while, he now moves and steeples his hands thoughtfully

"what is this one wondering? a loaded question, and one with many correct answers. Some of those answers are quite a bit more personal than others, still this one thinks that the answer that will most interest you would be that this one is wondering exactly what happened on that day,,,, the one that left the Young Master the owner of this house... This one tried to find out but the reports on record outside of this house are conflicted and contradictory"

yamikuronue

Rosanna tsks. "Well, the truth is, nobody knows, do they? Sure, Master Obsidian went to jail, but he was vague about his confession and honestly, it sounded pretty flimsy in the first place. Lord knows I never saw no fighting dogs about the house before the incident. But the story goes, Master Obsidian had these fighting dogs, nasty pit bull types, and they got into the house and tore up Master Gregory, Mistress Aldrea, and Young Mistress Muriel. They wounded Young Master Lance, too, but he recovered nice enough, physically at least. Mentally..." She shakes her head, tsking again.

accalia

"Hmm.... so there's none that could know those events. That is sad."

Echo pauses breathing deeply

"mmmmm those pies are smelling good"

yamikuronue

"I suppose if you could get Obsidian to admit the truth you could find out, but he doesn't see no-one in the jail. Lance won't talk of course. He's like to bite your head off if you try. Keeps to himself, keeps odd hours, mysterious injuries... the word is we're haunted, but I'm sure it's all his doing."

accalia

"yes... this one had heard about the hauntings.... so the rumors are true?"

yamikuronue

"Which ones? There's no ghost, if that's what you're asking."

accalia

"There are quite a few rumors circulating, both old and new. Most are patently rediculous others are somewhat reasonable. The one that stands out most strongly is indeed often spoken as if a ghost or poltergeist."

Echo has moved to the stove and is now taking the cooked press out of the oven.

"The rumor say that one stalks the gardens and lands after dark and that all who attract is attention have died. This one does not believe that there would have been as many deaths as the rumors suggest, but it does seem to fit what this one saw last night..."

yamikuronue

"Oh, la, there haven't been deaths, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Young Master has walked the grounds. Not sure why, though. There's not much to see. He cut back to one gardener and gave strict instructions for the best of the gardens to let go to seed, so there's mostly just the herb garden left that's worth sitting in. The Young Mistress was fond of the rose garden her mother planted, you see. She was but a wee thing, merely ten, the poor duckling."

accalia

Echo washes his hands after taking the last of the pies out of the oven and setting them to cool.

"This rose garden, it was much loved by the young lady? If so might this one see it, and all the other gardens if it is not too much trouble? This one would be most interested in seeing them, even in their much neglected state, as you say they are."
