"I have, actually," says Siegfried, calmly.

Obsidian pinched the bridge of his nose. "Then whatever you're planning, Lance, I'm sure as hell not leaving you here on your own. Siegfried lasted ten years, so unless there's something your planning on doing or something your not telling me, there's no reason that he'd suddenly be in more danger than the past decade."

"Did you miss the part where this bitch has been winding me up since she got here?" he growls, his fingers twitching faintly.

"Did YOU miss the part where the wolf tried to protect Siegfried WELL after Julie had wound it up?" Obsidian kept his eyes on Lance.

[yamikuronue]

"You'd bet his life on that?" he snarls.

[CalamityJade]

"That there's something I'm not being told between one of you? I'd bet MY life on it." There was definitely something wrong, and if Lance wasn't going to trust him with it, there's a good chance it had to do with him. "He. Will. Be fine. In fact, I'll even stand guard over you to make sure of it."

"Stand guard over him, from at least a hundred miles away, if you want to stand guard," he snaps.

"And what if I need to guard you?"

[yamikuronue]

"From what?"

[CalamityJade]

"...well, yourself, obviously, but also because if you're worried about everyone else being in danger, it'd be easier to keep track of and stop YOU, rather than worry about several other people."

[yamikuronue]

Lance glances aside. "Nothing can happen to me that's worse than what's already happened. And you're much more likely to get bit hassling me than protecting them."

"Stone skin, remember? It's been long enough that I can keep it up during the night for three days...or is it the entire time that's a blur?"

Lance continues not meeting Obsidian's eyes. "I usually... it's kind of blurry. I don't come out of my room."

Obsidian kept trying to keep eye contact for a moment before sighing. "So. Anyway, Sieg, we're not trying to get the two of them all 'buddy buddy' today. Shit ain't gonna fly and it'll work easier if you can make some arrangements for our house guests." He gives Lance a look of 'you are NOT out of this one. "Then you can walk me through whatever goes on here during the full moon. Still not sure how you managed it and I might as well know if you have anything for this in particular."

Lance lets out a small grunt of frustration. "Typically I lock myself in my room for three days or so."

Siegfried sighs. "I bring him meals most days in his room anyway. I've not seen him in beast form during the day, but there are times he doesn't answer the door and I have to leave his tray outside. Rarely, he'll skip a meal, but he generally cleans his plate."
