Echo raises an eyebrow inquisitively then speaks.

"in that case, why are you interested in this one?"

Vi throws back the finger she poured with a smirk. "See? That's how it's played. My turn." She points at Siegfried. "Why are you so quiet?"

"I am merely here to assist," he answers, blandly. "What are you?" he fires back at Vi.

"I'm Vi," she says, with a cheeky grin.

Echo nods.

"This one wonders.... How does Vi know this one?"

Morden frowned. "That is the answer to 'Who you are?' not WHAT you are, so you should either answer the question or take another shot."

[yamikuronue]

Vi makes a face. "Fine, fine. But you won't like the answer." She rolls her eyes. "I'm a metahuman."

Sigfried frowns as Vi pours again. "I think it's my turn to ask," she says, turning her attention to Echo, "So hang onto that for a minute." That said, she points to Morden. "Why do you avoid drinking?"

"Because, it would not agree with me, like most beings of my persuasion. It an actually be quite dangerous, especially if one is...rather stressed. I'm not exactly one to be accustomed to being followed, so I would naturally avoid drinking at such a time." Morden gave Vi a bit of a smile. "Would that make it my turn?"

Vi nods, gesturing to him to keep going.

Morden gave a nod. "Thank you. I would like to ask that if you wished to help us, why did you not introduce yourself rather than sneaking after us?"

"Because I didn't know how you'd react. Knowledge is power."

"Assistant: how do you know scarred and broody over here?"

Siegfried hesitates for a long moment, before reaching for a glass, which Vi happily dribbles some whiskey in.

Echo reaches over to Siegfried and places his hand over the tumbler of whiskey

"This one keeps no secrets. not anymore...."

Siegfried looks over him for a moment, then nods, putting the glass down.

"We met when he was contracted to heal my master. We have since become... I like to think friends."

Siegfried sits back before framing his next question. "What do you know of him?"

Vi grins. "Not much, and a lot. Depending how you look at things."

Morden seemed to find all this rather facinating. He was paying very keen attention to Vi.

"This one thinks that is not a truthful answer. would you like to try again?"

[yamikuronue]

Vi laughs. "That's fair." She sits back, resting her head against the headboard as she closes her eyes for a long moment.

"I know that he is tormented, trapped, a system in chaos, a ball of will and magic yearning to be set free. I know that he is ancient, older than you imagine, older than he knows. I know that my task is to aid him. The rest is all conjecture."
