Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

"what the [unintelligable] happened?.... owww..... this one hurts all over."

Echo's eyes are open, and have returned to their normal colour, although they are glassy and unfocused with pain.

[CalamityJade]

"You tried to grab Siegfried while Lance was protecting him. There was a reason I said to wait, and that was so I could get Lance to calm down and not do that exact thing." OBsidian sounded a bit annoyed, but it was...rather unfocused. "You're back at the house and I've managed to bandage you up. Julie is trying to keep the police from assuming something is wrong here and showing up before I can ask Lance what the hell actually happened."

[accalia]

Echo lauchs, once then groans in pain.

"That should be an interesting headline in the papers tomorrow... Julie does love to run. This one takes it that Siegfried is okay now?"

[CalamityJade]

"Yeah...which makes me wonder...how the hell did you manage that. I've seen some types of magic used to heal people, but nothing quite THAT extreme." Obsidian took a seat in a chair in the room. "You're lucky I recognized there being bullet fragments in your leg."

[accalia]

"This one has not met another who could heal as this one... ouch!... does. Did you think this one earned all these scars oneself?. ... The projectile transferring as well.... don't know about that. This one hasn't healed many gunshot wounds."

[CalamityJade]

"One does when they meddle to the level that you do." Obsidian chuckled as he gazed at the wound. "And what the hell was with you? You acted like you didn't even hear me. With that attitude, it's a surprise that you've lasted this long."

[accalia]

"Apologies, the last thing this one remembers before waking up here is the petrol station and the scene there. then following a blood trail.... then this one was here. One assumes that Siegfried was hurt by your description and the fact that this one apparently healed a gunshot wound..."

[CalamityJade]

"You don't...." he gave Echo an odd look. "So you don't remember the bite on your arm or anything just before that?"

[accalia]

"No, this one does not, sorry. Who bit this one?"

[CalamityJade]

"...Lance, which brings up one other problem. I don't know how long it takes, so we'll just have to play THAT by ear." Obsidian wasn't sure WHAT he should do...part of him said he should kill him now and avoid the entire problem...although it seemed that he had been doing this for a while.

[accalia]

Another laugh from Echo, again broken half way through with a groan of pain

"If this one doesn't have that problem from when Julie bit this one all those years ago, lance won't be a problem. As far as this one can tell this one's own curse overrides or suppresses any other."

[CalamityJade]

"...seems handy...though that curse, it doesn't happen to come with blackouts, yeah?" So wait...he really is cursed...and can't change? That solves one problem, though he wasn't sure how much he should worry at this point."

[accalia]

"Blackouts? not that this one has noticed before. Although Siegfried did mention that this one had done and said things that one later did not remember doing.... Why do you ask?"

[CalamityJade]

"Because you never use 'I', yet you did when Lance bit you...and this happens often?" That was a little worrysome.

[accalia]

"As far as this one knows it has only happened twice, and this one.... one lost the right to use one's soulname and with that the right to refer to oneself in the first person.... a long time ago. That is a very bad memory for this one.... a very painful one."
