Julie shrugs expressively

Julie: the wolf is a wolf. what a wold would do and what a wolf wouldn't do. They're actually not that much of a danger so long as you stay out of their territory. and if one befriends you, feral or not, a werewolf will always be there to protect you. as for removing the claws.... i don't think anyone has managed to actually do that and live... not that i'm aware of anyway.

CalamityJade

Obsidian chuckled a little before finishing off his coffee. "Huh. Makes you wonder...anyway, that would explain a couple of things. One being how things ended yesterday, the other being..." He sighed. "So, you've been a werewolf for a while. Any insight you can give?"

yamikuronue

"I wasn't aware wolves were in the habit of fratricide," remarks Siegfried, dryly.

accalia

Julie: wolves are not in the habit of fratricide, but when one is angry and scared out of one's mind is it any wonder that one acts in ways that one regrets later?

Julie turns to Obsidian

Julie: I've been a werewolf for eighty years young man, Young man, I have experience, i have insight, but i'm no miracle worker.

yamikuronue

"I'm sure the dead appreciate that," Siegfried adds, blowing some hair out of his face. "Is there anything the living can do to protect ourselves?"

CalamityJade

Obsidian chuckled. "Wasn't aware I was asking for a miracle. Calm down, I was imply asking about insight into how to proceed. Doesn't seem like the 'traditional' way of doing things is going to work best." He looked around a little. "Though...speaking of protecting ourselves, how exactly HAS that been working out? It's been a decade and I can't imagine I missed news of any more deaths."

accalia

a shrug from Julie

Julie: Having another werewolf around that is in full control of herself helps, but the best protection would be for Lance to master the wolf inside him. What that would entail i don't know, that's up to lance and the wolf.

yamikuronue

"To be honest," replies Siegfried to Obsidian, "I scarcely knew what had happened to him myself. There have been no police investigations here, though I suspect they have their hands full with this vigilante. He comes home injured frequently, but never asks about hiding a body. Though... is he aware what his other self does? Could the wolf have killed without Lance's knowing?"

accalia

Julie: Killed without his knowledge, i doubt it... but it is possible i suppose. Could it have killed without Lance having any control in the matter, quite possible.

CalamityJade

Morden blinked as he came into the room. "Well...I guess I should find another ti-"

Obsidian cut him off. "Don't act like you weren't curious. If you were going to pull that, you would have gone to find a room long before you did."

Morden sighs. "You know, it would not kill you to assume the best of people...anyway, good morning."

yamikuronue

Siegfried sighs. "Yes, let's have everyone involved," he mumbles, flipping the pancake he's on. "So we're reasonably certain then that the Young Master has not killed again in the intervening ten years," he says, louder and calmer. "I don't suppose there's any cure for his condition?"

accalia

Julie: not everyone is involved, I note that both Master Lance and Echo are still absent. Good morning Morden, I trust our antics last night did not disturb you?

Julie: As for a cure, no there is none save death. But that is not a bad thing, it is not a curse after all. Although I must admit, neither is it a blessing.

yamikuronue

"The Young Master never takes breakfast downstairs.I suspect he would disagree regarding this being a curse."

CalamityJade

Morden chimed in. "It's not a curse in the traditional sense, at least. Usually they have to be removable or weak enough that someone could overpower them." he gave a nod to those present. "And I slept quite well. Thank you for you're concern."

Obsidian gave Morden a sideways glance. "So, you're saying that it's..."

Morden sighed. "Not a curse. There's no stipulation and it's not formed like any sort of spell I've seen. Granted, that's without being able to look over it fully, but from what I've seen, it's beyond my abilities." he reguards the look from Obsidian. "What, do you really think someone who's work with your family for over a decade would be just an average accountant."

Obsidian sighed. "Well, it's not like we had staff that could conjure things."

accalia

Julie: There's a fair bit of lore about what exactly a werewolf is. some of it plausible, some ludicrous. I withhold judgement still. We are who and what we are and it is wisest to deal with that first and quibble philosophy afterwards.
