Siegfried flushes faintly, though he does not respond to Obsidian's comment. "I was trying merely to acertain how much danger the guests are in."

Julie: oh. my apologies then. i seem to have grabbed the wrong end of the stick there. Must be grumpier than usual today.

Julie rubs a hand over her face slowly

Julie: You ask about danger... I am more than capable of taking care of myself and unless I misread things the rest of you are also so capable. As for Siegfried and Rosanna, that's not likely an issue the wolf most likely sees you as family, or at least valuable resources. It's hard to say how a wolf thinks.

"The wolf has killed family before," he points out.

Morden took a seat. "Well, there is a point upon the first change that is apparently confusing. It's very likely that neither the wolf nor Lance knew what was going on."

Obsidian frowned. "enough of that!" He snapped a bit at Morden. "I can tell you right now that it was an accident. That's all there is to it now."

Julie: It's a thing that happened, we cannot change that. But we can move forward. Let us not dwell on what has gone before, rather on the road ahead.

"So you're saying he's safe now? There won't be any more such accidents?" Siegfried turns, the pancakes forgotten for the moment.

Julie shrugs

Julie: I think so. Ask the wolf if you want to be sure.

"Even when I was fighting him, he didn't seem to want me dead...well much." At least if that was the case, then getting a good hold on him wouldn't have stopped the fight...and it gave him a chance to not have to kill his nephew. "So...a werewolf that does financial planning? That's a tad bit odd."

"Would you mind telling the Young Master that?"

Julie laughs at Siegfried's suggestion.

Julie: young man, i could not do that to the master! I am another wolf and i'm trespassing on his territory. the wolf won't listen to me, and i doubt the man will either! As for it being odd for a werewolf doing financial planning, you obviously haven't met my partners Ms. Schreien and Mr. Hören. By comparison to them i'm positively normal!

"While I agree, this isn't exactly a laughing matter. He's spent the last decade blaming himself for what happened, and he barely believes me about it...I think he just figures I knew his dad better and wants someone to..." Obsidian sighs. "Anyway, I think him hearing it will help, even if he won't accept it."

Morden gave a slight sniff. "Are you sure those aren't burning?" He motions towards the pancakes on the stove.

Siegfried lets out a small gasp of dismay, moving to take the offending burnt pancake off the heat.

Julie: Hmm... true enough. all of it. Has anyone seen Echo today? His talents might be useful today....

Obsidian shrugged. "Not since last night. Though considering the 'warm welcome' you gave him, he might be laying low."

Morden blinked. "Warm welcome?"

Julie: so i slapped him, he did earn it afteral...

Julie stops suddenly

Julie: ah. he brought his guitar? he loves that thing, and a better player i haven't met and i know vampyrs that have spent centuries learning their art.
