"Hey! Being cocky is how all this shit started, so don't give me that." And here he was...arguing with his nephew, who was a wolf right now. "..Anyway, what the hell were YOU doing out there. Seeing how only one of those guys was attacked by something other than a gun, didn't leave like this."

The wolf looks off at the wall, as though something interesting were happening over there in the corner.

Obsidian frowned. "Don't think you're getting out of THAT." He didn't know what the hell Lance was up to, but he sure as hell wasn't going to act like it wasn't happening. "But I get the feeling that we'll be talking a lot about that later."

Another snort, as the wolf lays back down.

Obsidian shook his head as he turned to head out of the room. "We'll be talking about this in the morning...but for now, you did good...rather you not bite the guy trying to heal Siegfried, but I can't tell you who to trust." With that, he heads to find his own room and sleep. He did NOT need much else to happen this evening, and was sure everyone would actually stay put.

The next morning was another bit of a rude awakening, as there was a call. Seeing how he was one of the only people who lived there that would answer a phone, he did so and was having a...pleasant conversation with what sounded like the police.

On waking after a night that was far too short Julie walks to the kitchen, finding it still empty she starts preparing breakfast. Her effort is nothing  compared to the one provided yesterday by Siegfried, but it is serviceable.

Echo has not yet woken, but the door to his room is open and Echo can be seen to be reclining on the bed, his chest rising and falling slowly, but rhythmically.

Siegfried makes it to the kitchen a few minutes after Julie begins; he's dispensed with the many-buttoned uniform in favor of a simple polo, slacks, and an apron, but he's still up and about. "Good morning. My apologies, I appear to have overslept."

Julie: given the night you had I'm surprised you're up at all this early. What do you remember of last night anyway?

[yamikuronue]

He runs a hand through his hair, grimacing. "So you heard about that, then?"

[accalia]

Julie: most of us did. certainly Echo did. I think Morden managed to sleep through it. I'd expect Animal control to stop by at some point to see if you keep any wolfhounds.... although they may be a while since i lead them off to the east.

Siegfried nods, looking faintly embarrassed. "Perhaps it was foolish of me, but I did not intend to wake everyone... my apologies."

[CalamityJade]

Morden yawned as he made his way into the dining area. "Not quite, though I didn't think I would be of much assistance " He looked slightly disheveled with his hair a bit askew, but was dressed appropriately. "I'm guessing that you all had an eventful evening?"

[accalia]

Julie: Morning Morden, I see you had a rather more restful night than most of us. Siegfried, Sit down and eat, you're still pretty pale. I'll get this meal at least.

Siegfried shakes his head. "Nonsense, you're a guest here. I can manage."
