Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

Julie laughs. it's a tired laugh, but one with a hint of teeth in it.

Julie: Siegfried, You have surely learned by now that you do not tell a werewolf that they can't do something they want to do. Sit down, please. Let me get this meal.

[CalamityJade]

"And besides, we're more akin to temporary staff than a guest. For one, we have actual work to do and for another, she has a very good point." Morden gives a bit of a smile. "Though...it IS interesting to note that, while you seem a bit pale, you are also rather healthy." he was giving him a bit of an eye...which seemed a bit off to Siegfried. it was like something of a faint line near the edge of his eye wasn't quite right.

Siegfried sighs, grabbing a banana and a jar of peanut butter and sitting at the table. "Fine, but there's no need to wait on me," he concedes. "Don't let the Young Master know I'm shirking my duties," he adds, with a faint smile but serious eyes.

Morden gave a bit of a grin. "I doubt he'd believe us over you, but I will keep that in mind. Still, I have to ask what all the commotion was all about."

Julie finishes preparing breakfast. It's simple pancakes with sausage bits in scrambled eggs.

Julie: I think I'll let Siegfried start, I arrived on the scene rather later than he did.

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried winces. "There's not much to tell.. I wanted to see where the Young Master was going at night, so I followed him. There was gunfire, and I must have fainted from shock -- I thought I was hit, but I appear to be fine. I woke up in my own bed, so I presumed he brought me back..."

[accalia]

Julie: You were hit. Now you are not.

Julie stops with the explanation to start eating ravenously of the portion she had served herself (which was rather larger than the "normal" sized portions she provided Morden and Siegfried)

Siegfried's face darkens for a moment, then the expression is cleared away, replaced by a bland, pleasant expression. "I see. So, I was thinking of doing some baking after breakfast. Are you interested in baking at all?"

Morden seemed a bit concerned. "Is that really all you are going to say? Or do you think this is some sort of joke?"

[accalia]

Julie: Siegfried. After what I did yesterday to protect this household, and after what Echo did to protect your life.... we've earned better than that.

Siegfried shakes his head with a rueful grin. "I'm sorry. That's all I really know, other than to share the Young Master's business, which I doubt he would thank me for."

[CalamityJade]

Morden sighed. "I don't mean that. Obviously if it had something to do with your Master's business. Most would be a lot more curious about being shot and not having bullet wounds."

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried waves a hand. "That would be Echo's business, which I am likewise loathe to spread rumors about."

[accalia]

Julie: Then go ask Echo if you can talk about it, He's not ambulatory at the moment so you'll have to go to him. Given the number of times i was shot at last night i think I at least deserve some answers, and with as sharp as Morden is he's going to figure it out eventually so it would be better to deal with it directly.

Julie: Besides I know Echo well enough to know he's going to tell you that you can talk. As secretive as he is about his past he's never tried to hide anything about the present.

Siegfried's expression grows a bit darker. "I suspect the answers you seek are the Young Master's to tell, not mine nor Echo's. Why there was shooting, who was doing the shooting, why we were there... this is all his story."
