"You may as well put in there that I won't betray any secrets I have sworn to uphold. My employer is particularly off-limits. If that means cutting a story short once in a while, so be it. Other than that, I think that should be all."

accalia

Schreien: The stories I want are yours, if the story isn't yours to tell then it's obviously off the table. That was already going to be in the contract. If there's nothing else I'll let you ring off and you can call me when you have the contract from Mr. Hören.

yamikuronue

"Can do." Siegfried hangs up the receiver, though he feels a bit foolish doing so -- he'd noticed ages ago that this was a psychic conversation, but he didn't want to accidentally hang up the mental connection by hanging up the phone. After all, what was it that cheap sci-fi movie said? "Your mind makes it real"?

accalia

As soon as the receiver is replaced the mental connection to Ms. Schreien snaps and dissolves again into nothing once more.

Back in the kitchen Julie is sitting at the kitchen table holding a steaming mug of coffee under her nose, simply inhaling the smell of the excellent coffee.

yamikuronue

Siegfried walks into the kitchen and starts. "Ah, miss Julie. Good morning."

accalia

Julie: mrnig...

Julie takes a large sip of coffee and seems to wake up a bit

Julie: sorry, Morning Siegfried. How are you doing today?

yamikuronue

"I'm alright, and yourself? Can I get you anything?"

accalia

Julie: I could eat a whole cow i think..... What were you working on before you got interrupted? it smells good.

yamikuronue

Siegfried checks the timer he set up. "A tortilla.. not the Mexican kind, the Spanish kind. Eggs, potatoes, sort of a breakfast casserole."

accalia

Julie: Sounds interesting. I'll try one. Thanks!

yamikuronue

He smiles. "Should be ready in about five minutes. Did you sleep well?"

accalia

Julie: well enough. This close to the full moon it tends to be the wolf sleeping more than me. Hopefully the dreams weren't too loud?

Julie pauses for a moment

Julie: Seen anyone else today?

yamikuronue

He nods. "Echo mentioned working in the garden. I also made the phone call you suggested."

accalia

Julie: Ah. And how did the conversation go? Ms. Schreien can be a bit odd to get used to.

yamikuronue

He hesitates. "It was acceptable," he says, after a moment. "We are drafting a contract."
