Julie: yeah. it would also explain why he feels.... disconnected? no all there?

CalamityJade

"Possibly." Morden gave a sigh. "It is curious, that he seems so tight-lipped about it. One would think that having a proper explanation would make what he tries to do easier."

accalia

Julie: I've wondered about that. it's almost as if he doesn't realize it himself, or maybe that he is.... sealed? restricted?.... he can't talk about it.

CalamityJade

"That...is possible. I didn't really consider a third party doing this to him. Usually that sort of thing is followed with resentment. I have a hard time believing Echo resents anyone..." Morden sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose under his glasses. "Either way, he does not seem dangerous...well, any more dangerous than the rest of us."

accalia

Julie: I would agree there. the only person he is a threat to is himself...

In the morning, Morden, Echo, Rosanna, and Julie are each presented with a train ticket and itinerary: they're being sent to an exclusive resort and spa on a beach not too far from town, all expenses paid. Siegfried's made raspberry pancakes, and seems to be in a reasonably good mood as he serves; Lance doesn't bother showing up.

CalamityJade

Morden took one of the pancakes and gave a bit of a smile. "Well...didn't quite think we'd get treated this well. Don't think I've been to the beach in some time."

accalia

Echo eats quietly and with gusto, he has placed his ticket was placed in the front pocket of his jacket.

Julie on the other hand has not appeared from her room. Her door is closed and there are two envelopes tucked behind the handle. One is addressed to Morden, and the other to Siegfried.

yamikuronue

Siegfried, on his way up to wake Julie, notices his envelope and pauses, opening the envelope.

accalia

the note to siegfried reads:

Sidhe asks that you call her, I'm making myself scarce for a few days. I doubt anyone other than you or a werewolf could find me till after the moon. please don't try.

yamikuronue

Siegfried sighs, pocketing the letter, as he heads back to the table to check on the other guests.

CalamityJade

Morden was already enjoying the pancakes at the table, though it would seem that Obsidian was also absent. Morden gave a nod to Siegfried as he came in. "Good morning. Excellent work, by the way."

yamikuronue

"My thanks. It seems Julie will not be joining you on your vacation; she left a note for you outside her door."

accalia

Morden's note, when he  reads it contains the following text

'm making myself scarce for a few days. It's safeer that way. You asked me about Echo, and more than we talked about earlier i remembered that he often talks of someone named "Sylphia". You might try to find out about that name?

CalamityJade

Morden looked over the note carefully a second time before giving a bit of a sigh. "It would seem that Julie has her own plan for things...something of a shame, though this does give me a chance in other senses." he would have to try and see what is truly happening with Echo. More than his own curiosity, there was something...unnerving about the man.
