"Indeed. I almost wish I were coming along." Siegfried gives a small smile.

"Well, if I manage to find anything I'm sure you'll hear about it as well. Though I do not envy you. While I find the process and change fascinating, I do try to keep my client's wishes in mind."

Siegfried nods. "I find that in order to truly be of service, I must look beyond my master's wishes and see into his needs."

"And I'm guessing you realized that he needs people, despite not wanting them around."

[yamikuronue]

"Exactly." He smiles, shyly.

"That's a rather interesting ability. Most would have to either guess at what he would need, or have some way of asking him what he'd need." Morden smirked a little. "Though I will be hoping you don't need to be tied to any more wolves."

Siegfried laughs. "Nothing supernatural about it. I've grown up alongside the Young Master, is all."

Morden smiled. "And as such, you don't require the ability to peer into his mind. Oh, and before I forget, I'm not overly worried about what you've seen in mine. I tend to do most of my deep thinking in private."

Siegfried blushes faintly. "I tend to stay out unless invited, barring exceptional circumstances."

"Well, if you only went to places you were invited, I doubt you would be as helpful as you are." Morden chuckled a little. "Though we all seem to be rather exceptional, at least if you consider each person individually."

"Every one is a snowflake," he agrees, readily. "Some more pointy than others."

"Well, I can imagine life has been hard for him. Not everyone is as good at concealing their own problems as yourself." Morden leaned back a little in his chair. "Not that I blame you. From what I've seen, you don't have a lot of time to yourself, which would make things rather difficult."

Siegfried shrugs. "And yet, somehow, it's a rather solitary existence all the same. Still, I'll have to squeeze in time to practice my new talents where I can."

"You could always find more time with yourself. With..." There was a slight pause as he seemed to think about saying something before changing his mind. "With Obsidian here, I don't think you need to always be right there for Lance."

Siegfried gives a rueful smile. "He doesn't understand Lance as I do. There's been some... misunderstandings."
