"Oh? What sort of misunderstandings, or do you believe that Obsidian is wrong to think how he does about your situation?"

Siegfried waves a hand. "There's that. But also... Lance seems... well, I feel what he's doing is necessary, but it doesn't seem to be going as well as could be hoped."

Morden shrugged. "I imagine that, given the information he had, it was the best that he could do. He does not, however, take new information very well...hopefully once this full moon passes, he will have time to concider what he knows now."

Siegfried nods. "I hope he does allow someone to help him... at this point, anyone will do."

[CalamityJade]

"Then, while crass, y-his uncle may be the best for it. The spell that he used should protect him from being infected. It's actually rather facinating, as it seems that he found a way to be rather precise with his mana usage. I imagine there's probably a few other things he can do with it, but I've yet to get a good look at how he's doing it."

Siegfried nods. "I haven't had much practice with magic yet,  just a little dabbling here and there, so I'm not even sure what to look for in that department."

Morden gave a bit of a sheepish smile. "I will admit to having an affinity for that sort of thing. It's not exactly fair, but I find it makes up for some of my other failings."

"Do you?" His face lights up with almost childish excitement. "Can you tell anything about me?"

Morden chuckled a little as he slid his glasses down a little to look at Siegfried. "Well...quite a few things. I can tell that you spend a good deal of time fussing over the owner of the property and none looking after yourself. A trait that you seem to share in common with Lance." He tilted his head to the other side. "You care a great deal for those around you...but are careful not to let anything you are dealing with show." He moved a little closer to Siegfried. "Hmm...and you get a slight glow when you're truly interested in something. It's actually rather..." ~Fetching, adorable, enticing.~ "Cute."

Siegfried blushes faintly, looking up at Morden through his lashes. "Cute? I am a paragon of professionalism, I assure you. And I share very few traits with Lance."

Morden chuckled a little more. "And that simply adds to it. It seems rather difficult to fluster you....hmm.." Of course there was a couple of images at the surface of Morden's thoughts before he spoke again. "And I don't see how you could not be both."

"Cute and professional? I suppose if I was a pop singer..." he muses, struggling -- and failing -- to get the blush to fade from his cheeks.

Morden continued to chuckle. "Hmm...do you happen to be able to sing?" And there's a few thoughts about voices and...well, sorts of things like singing. "Besides, most pop singers are much more terrible at conversation, I'd think."

Siegfried shakes his head. "No, not a note."

"Only a small shame, then." Morden couldn't help but give a bit of a smile. "So...why is it that you find being told about your looks honestly so embarrassing? I would think that would be something that would be brought up now and again, at least."
