He chuckles, softly. "Outside of the Young Master and Rosanna, everyone else I speak with is in a purely professional capacity. Here's your check, are these grapes fresh, that sort of thing."

Morden smiled a little. "Well, then let me be the first to tell you that you are rather fetching. And seeing how I've been helping your family for some time, I think being slightly less than professional would be allowed, yes?"

The blush, in spite of his efforts to tame it, creeps to his neck and ears, as a small, uncertain smile creeps across his lips. "I... Thank you."

Morden couldn't help but grin a little. "And thankfully for you, red IS one of my favorite colors. And it looks so good on you, too."

"I prefer blue," he mumbles, glancing away.

"Really...hmm. " He tilted his head to the other side. "I could see it. I'd bring out your eyes."

Siegfried opens his mouth to reply, but falls silent.

After a moment, he closes his mouth. "Forgive me, I... have not dealt with this before. I... are you... attempting to, ah... woo me?"

Morden smiled a little and gave a sigh. "And here I thought I was doing well with that. My observations led me to believe that being more forward would cause you a good amount of distress."

"I.... am not certain how to respond. My... my duties prohibit..." Well, technically, they don't. "I lack the time for..." Really? A lack of time? Weren't you just complaining of how bored you were?

"I have never assumed..."

"That you were attractive? That someone would find you as such? That they would then ask you?" Morden smiled a little. "I have a habit of observing people...and that much I can tell from your interactions...well...unless I missed my guess, but you can't learn if you are afraid of mistakes."

"I do... find you attractive as well," he croaks, after a moment to catch his breath.

Morden gave a bit of a smile...though oddly no blushing. "That's...good." He gave a relieved sigh and a tension that had been hard to see was released. "I have to tell you. It is usually somewhat messy when I ever try to speak to someone about this." He took a moment. "I will admit to working a good deal to make myself more presentable."

"I like your eyes," he says, after a moment, looking up into them. "Though that ring isn't the best choice of accessory."

Morden gave a...somewhat sad look. "They're contacts. They allow me to give people more privacy and piece of mind." He ran a hand throught the short, reddish brown hair. "The hair is not a dye job. That much I can tell you."

Siegfried blushes again. "Ah... um... Sorry." He fidgets with his hands in his lap, helplessly. "...is there much about you that isn't an act?"
