Julie performs the wolfish equivalent of a shrug and continues to simply lie there, about six paces away from Obsidian. She seems content to wait for Lance to speak or act first.

Obsidian pinched the bridge of his nose. "So that didn't work on you...great. So you're actually not affected, and I'm sure as hell not gonna be able to keep you still long enough."

Wolf holds still a long moment, watching Julie, then glances up at Obsidian, clearly unhappy.

Julie looks carefully at the other wolf for a long moment. eventually she lets our a soft bark of inquiry.

Wolf replies with a testy growl and a dirty look. Still not happy. Just not attacking her on sight.

Julie sighs and asks a question, both vocally so Obsidian can hear and in the semisecret language of wolves.

"So now you're here without the human trying to suppress you. What are you going to do? he won't be asleep forever."

Obsidian was pretty sure he DID have some draw on this. He's gonna have to be careful. "Right...so for now let's deal with some food." He would have to roll with this for now, though he did give Julie a look that seemed to imply he was not happy with being snuck up on and had not forgotten that.

Wolf responds with an irritated growl, his tail twitching a little. Does not approve.

"Not by my doing that, talk to the man if you want to keep your other half asleep. I assume you're hungry then?"

Wolf glances up at Obsidian, as if waiting for him to take charge of the situation. That or give him permission to attack the intruder.

Obsidian pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't even know why you...no, because you thought it was a better idea." He was NOT going to sit here the entire time. He still needed to make sure Lance would wake up fine. "But food seems like a better idea." He turned towards Julie "You're lucky I was working that spell, normally I react badly to being snuck up on."

Julie shrugs expressively

"Sorry, I was going to stay out of it, but when i felt you spelling i had to see what the fuss was about. Glad i did really, it would be nice to have a talk with wolfie there without lance trying to suppress him."

[CalamityJade]

"So far, it's pretty similar...so it's likely that neither of them like you very much." Not to mention that he actually might have attacked her and he's not exactly a 'holding back' kinda guy. "Figured you went with everyone else for a vacation."

"going with them would have been a bad idea. I was going to spend the next couple of days in the woods out back, couple of miles in so i was out of Lance's teritory. This is proving more interesting, and if it turns out to be a bad idea there's still plan A"

Wolf growls softly, shooting Julie a nasty glare.
