Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

~That was...rather unexpected~ Morden turned his attention to Echo. "Maybe we should head for the elevator. Do you mind calling it while I give Siegfried a hand?"

[accalia]

Echo nods slowly, several more scars have flared back into prominence including one that appears to extend for some distance down his torso and seems to be the source of some considerable discomfort. His voice is slightly wooden and shallower than usual when he speaks.

"As you wish. This one will summon the elevator."

Sigfried leans heavily on Morden, though he seems to be recovering from his shock.

Morden had no problem supporting him. ~Could you tell if she was hostile in any way?~

[yamikuronue]

~no. I couldn't read her at all.~

[CalamityJade]

~Then we will simply have to discover for ourselves.~ Morden starts to lead Siegfried towards the elevators, having gotten their room keys. If she wanted to keep up with them and figure out what room they were in, she'd have to move after them.

She doesn't seem to be following... but the elevator's out of order. Odd luck, that.

"This one has failed at one's assigned task. This conveyance appears to be nonfunctional. Would the stairs be an acceptable alternative?"

[CalamityJade]

Morden gave a nod. "That...might be a good idea." That WAS an interesting...and a little well-timed.  "We can take the stairs...by the way, have you noticed if we've picked up an admirer?"

Sigfried glances back toward the girl briefly.

Echo does not look towards the tail

"short, woman, about fifteen or sixteen, grey hoodie, blue ballcap, reading "New Dawn", appears to have followed this one from the airport?"

[CalamityJade]

Morden gave a slight sigh. "It would seem that I am rather lax in noticing these things, but yes that would appear to be her. We've yet to determine what she is showing interest in us for."

[accalia]

"in truth this one had not noticed until you mentioned. The stairs are just this way."

Echo indicates a door a short distance away from the elevator bank.

They're one floor up when Siegfried holds up a finger, pausing in his tracks. Sure enough, there's a small click, as though the door were gently closing...

Great, so they were being followed. Morden looked a little annoyed about the situation, but tried to remain calm. "Right...we'll head for the room and try to surprise her once she leaves the stairwell. I would rather deal with this now more than later."
