Morden gave a nod. "If we're going to keep talking about him, he should be awake for it."

Siegfried reaches down to gently shake Echo's shoulder.

Echo wakes slowly. he seems a little confused at vi's presence. to the point he appears to be about to ask her who she is before stopping himself.

"Ah. this one appears to have fallen asleep during our conversation. Profound apologies. it is hoped that this one caused no trouble."

[yamikuronue]

"No, no trouble," replies Siegfried immediately. "We were just concerned that you fell asleep so quickly. You are well?"

[accalia]

"well enough this one feels. traveling is always draining."

[yamikuronue]

"Typically not 'keel over mid-sentence' draining," he says, gently.

[accalia]

Echo pauses, looking hurt, tired, and confused

"This one apologizes. that is.... unusual."

[CalamityJade]

"Quite." Morden gave a nod. "But, while that seemed distressing, it's allowed for some interesting ideas as to what has happened."

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried nods, reaching out to gently rub Echo's back. "I was hoping you weren't taken ill," he adds. "I should have known you were alright."

[accalia]

"What do you mean by that Morden?"

Echo is more confused than tired now.

Morden...gave the contact a bit of an....well, not really angry look, but he was annoyed and bothered about it. "It seems...that those blank spaces may be someone else within you speaking." He turned his attention, quite quickly, to Vi. "And you can easily confirm this, I hope."

[yamikuronue]

Vi makes a "pfft" noise. "Depends what you mean by confirm."

[accalia]

"This one is also interested what you mean by that."

[CalamityJade]

"Well, it seems to be that she's introduced a reason that you do not remember certain actions that you take. One that, now that I consider it, is quite likely. After all, just because a spell looks ancient, I shouldn't be limiting it to what I believe someone could do in the past."

Morden took, a moment to consider how to word his thought process. "The problem is, that I believed that you were forbidden from remembering things from your past and that was the explanation of some of your actions of actively forgetting things mentioned to you. If I were to take Vi's mention of feeling a sort of duality about you and add that to the facts we've observed, it's quite likely that there is more than one person inhabiting your body. If that person were allowed to wrest control from you, it is very likely that you would not remember anything that transpired."

Echo looks blank for a moment after Morden speaks.

"This one didn't understand that at all.... but if you're sure..."
