Tale as Old As Time [Finished]

"What, you wear makeup?" He chuckles. "I use brand-name conditioner to keep my hair this soft."

"And here I thought you just woke up like that. I guess I cannot deduce everything correctly." Morden laughed a little as well. "Oh, and I have been told I can be a tad bit possessive, not that I've ever really tested that." He chuckled. "and I believe with that, we may be running out of excuses to make this akward."

Siegfried doesn't answer except to plant a quick kiss on Morden's cheek. "I believe we have."

And now it was Morden's turn to look a bit surprised. "...you would think I would stop being surprised by now. Still, I'm glad. I was worried that you might have thought me fickle for not immediately...well, it does not matter." Morden returns the gesture before removing his arm from Siegfried's back. "So, then I guess I should look more myself...well, unless you mind. It's not that I have to do so right now and you give...several reasons to not leave your presence at the moment."

"By all means," he says, stepping back and gesturing with his arm for Morden to proceed.

Morden gave a nod. "I should probably start small." He took a moment and went to the bathroom, returning with the 'contacts' case. "Firstly, when I say I'm very perseptive. That's a little bit of a joke." He takes some time and works something off of his eye...which is a pale green-yellow and slitted. He winced as he put the small lense into the lightly blue-tinted liquid in the contain, which hissed a little as he did so. "Ah...that's better."

"Exotic," says Siegfried, neutrally.

"That's one of the nicer ways I've had it said." Morden moved a little closer. "I see normally...well, I see what most everyone else does. It also lets me see spells, which is quite a boon with the sort of clients I have." Morden took a bit of a breath. "The rest is...a little more involved, and might make you think a little less about my handsome face."

"What can you see on me?" asks Siegfried, interested.

"A faint, amber hew, mostly around your head, but it's over your entire body. It's actually rather cheery at times. From what I can tell I can see the concentration and flow of magic. Your mind is the focus and it seems to flow outwards, so you obviously would have the ability to read or sense minds." He grinned a little. "So that's some of where my deductions come from."

"Clever." He smiles. "Sounds like you have a real winner of a talent there."

"It does come with some downsides, I can assure you. One being that I have to treat those lenses in a solution to somewhat dampen what I see. It sometimes feels like spying on people." Morden kinda smiled a little. "I also end up with some...tendencies for collecting things. Books, mostly."

He sighed a small bit. "Right, I appear to be stalling again." He reaches for Siegfried's hand and ,if offered, he'd place it on the side of his face. Just like his hand, his face was also warm to the touch, but he could also feel something...a very faint line. "It took some time before I found anything I could use for long periods of time that would not be aggravating to remove later."

Siegfried nods. "I do my best not to spy on people," he adds. "I sometimes dip into the Young Master's brain, to ensure that I meet his needs, but otherwise..." He shrugs.

As his fingers find the line on Morden's face, he gently traces it, intreagued.

It seems like a light film on patches of his face as well as his skin feeling oddly textured underneath on these spots around his cheekbones, chin and a round his eyes. Morden continued looking a little embarrassed. "I...they make a kind of spreadable latex that makes the application very easy. It is not cheap, but I find that I make a good deal despite being in a very boring profession."

Siegfried finds the edge and, hesitantly, gives a bit of a tug.
