Echo seeming oblivious to the conversation and humming along to the music hand signs a correction, Shaking his head while holding up fingers counting down. He then mimes something with his hands that looks to be a predator of some sort, scenting the air to find prey.

Siegfried watches carefully, then says, "Apparently it's less of a timed thing and more of an actively hostile presence that had to locate me before it could devour me. I stand corrected."

"That is....rather difficult do deal with." Morden frowned. "I had originally thought that it was possible to use that protection circle to keep Siegfried safe as he headed inside, but it would appear that would be an ill-advised idea...did you find any way of observing what tried to kill you? That may give us some idea of a way to counter it."

More signing from echo, this time far more complicated, something to do with circles inside circles, Echo seems somewhat frustrated with the hand waving and breaks off, one hand landing on the table to grope for something.

The other hand grabs the pad of paper and holds it ready to write on.

Vi hands over the gel pen again, with a smile.

Echo grabs the pen and begins to sketch. What quickly emerges is a rough approximation of the magic circle that had been drawn before, drawn in straight lines so they looked more like hexagons with the corners missing.

Echo draws the six pointed star, failing to join the points, and places a large dot in five of the points. he then puts a check mark in the middle of the central circle, and scribbles in most of the area between the circles, leaving the quadrant with the blank point empty.

Placing the pen on the table echo points at the middle, then traces a path from the outside of the circles to the middle, going through the blank point of the circles.

Siegfried frowns. "Alright, on the assumption that the circle is inside Echo's aetherspace... I can get in through the blank spot, but not the other edges?"

[accalia]

A shrug from Echo seems to indicate that while it's the recommended route safety can't be guaranteed.

"Reasonably safe. Okay. Any other tips?"

[accalia]

Echo reaches out and taps the origami message from earlier, now sitting half buried under ordinary paper cranes.

Siegfried smiles. "Of course. I'll be careful."

[CalamityJade]

"I would very much hope you would be careful." Morden gave a bit of an...odd look between Echo and Siegfried before taking a breath. "Can you observe the outside of the Aether space before entering? that might help determine the 'weak point' to enter further.

[accalia]

Echo holds a hand out, wiggling it from side to side in a manner that clearly says "maybe?"

Siegfried nods. "It's not likely but.... well, shall I try now?"

[accalia]

In answer to the question Echo looks pointedly at Morden.

Or to be more precise several inches to the left of Morden, His eyes still being closed to enjoy the music.
