Just a Little Change... [Finished]

"Give me the list for town then. I need to at least stop by the office to pick up the mail and some documents." Her tone audibly has her tail firmly between her legs "The least i can do is do your shopping while i'm there."

"Nonsense. You are a guest."

[accalia]

"A guest with a permanent room and a cup with my name on it in the bathroom?" Julie asks, laughing. "Let me win this one Siegfried. Let me do the shopping for once, I'm going into town today anyway."

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried looks like he's about to argue. He glances at Julie, then at Morden, then back at Julie. Finally, his face sags a bit. "I suppose. Just this once."

He rakes a hand through his hair, closing his eyes. "But I do need to do my job. I don't want the Young Master getting the wrong idea."

[accalia]

"Just this once." Julie agrees. 'Until the next time anyway."

If Julie had a tail right now it would be doing a victory wag.

"And if he was anything close to a good employer-" Or relative. "then he will understand. I can help with the linens, seeing how I'm sure at least one of them may be partially my own fault."

Siegfried's wry smile speaks volumes. "I suppose I can't stop you."

Morden gave a bit of a smile. "What's the saying? Don't something about telling dragons where to sleep?" He moved to give Siegfried a quick peck on the cheek.

Julie stands, having finished her plate quite quickly actually.

"I've got to powder my nose and clean up before i head out. I'll take that shopping list before i head into town." She says pointedly when Morden and Siegfried finally disentangle their lips from each other.

Siegfried blushes faintly. "Of course. I'll write it out immediately."

And, to his credit, he does go collect a notebook from the nook beside the pantry where the ledgers and home upkeep notebook live.

Julie smiles. "And don't be afraid to add lists for other stores in town. I've got pretty much the whole day available, so a couple of extra stops is no problem." She asserts before walking out of the room to find a shower.

Once she was out of the room, Morden gave a long sigh and a smile. "So, I would like to speak with you, and it seems like now is the best time to do so."

"I suppose." He sits, beginning to draft up his list.

"Are you under the impression that I am going to suddenly disappear?" Well, THAT was rather direct.

Siegfried blinks, his pen halting. "I... had not presumed to dictate one way or another. I strive to enjoy what I have, without placing demands on your person for the future."
