The Gig [Finished]

"What if you speed or something?" he argues.

[accalia]

"Got my badge, can claim work emergency. Besides i'm not planning on speeding unless someone starts shooting at me."

[yamikuronue]

Vic shrugs, popping the inside panel off the passenge door and reaching into the doorframe. "If you say so."

[accalia]

"Think it's likely that we'll have to dodge lead?" Tony asks, sounding surprised that it might be an actual option.

[yamikuronue]

Vic shrugs. "I always assume the worst." He pulls out a small wrapped bundle, about the size and shape of a brick, and starts putting the panel back. "Check the driver side?"

[accalia]

Tony checks the drivers panel, and is unsurprised to find a kilo brick of coke. of course there would be more than one payload.

"huh.... of course.... Well, let's get this loaded and head out."

Vic nods, trotting to Tony's car. "Where do you want me to stash this?"

[accalia]

"Trunk. If i have to explain it away i'll say it's evidence. we can have it disappear from lockup later if needed." It's a good backup plan, Giovanni won't like it, but it won't be like the product won't actually be delivered, it would just be... unfortunately delayed.

[yamikuronue]

Vic eyes him slyly. "You're not planning on having an accident to get this off the street, are you?"

[accalia]

"Hell no. You have any idea how much trouble that would cause me?! No, it's just good to have backup plans. Besides, i'm not positive i'd survive to out meeting today if i fail this mission tonight. Might be able to talk my way out of it, but i'm not going to bet my life on it."

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods. "Good. If I thought you were planning to lose this much powder I'd probably have to stop you." He gives a sheepish smile before he adds, "somehow."

[accalia]

"I've seen you at the gym. unless you stole my spare sidearm from the safe at home you wouldn't have a chance." Tony comments with a laugh, then changes to a more somber tone. "Not that i'd force you to make the choice about whether to try or not. Anyway, we loaded?"

Vic nods, moving to climb into the car. "Seem to be."

[accalia]

"Let's hit the road then." Tony starts driving, e's driving a bit slower than he was on the way out and the car is noticeably complaining on the hills.

Vic nestles in to watch the road go by as they drive. "Nice night, at least," he says.
