To be fair, it wasn't written that way. It was written that for every hit point healed by a positive energy spell she'd also take one point of damage, for a net 0, and vice versa.

that's the loophole there are white magic spells that can harm and black magic spells that can heal.

the most obvious one i can think of is life drain. you need a victim to cast it on but it's a dark magic spell that heals the caster.
