well shouldn't take too long. a post in /t/1000 should take care of the likes requirement and then it should just be a matter of wandering around reading for a few minutes (10 or 15 i think)

He just hit TL1, you have to have read five threads so I linked him to a bunch of error'd and cupcake threads to skim through. Apparently you can PM three times in one threads before it freaks out that you're a spambot as a TL0

Yeah, https://what.thedailywtf.com/uid/650">@accalia and I are both TL3s, and get limited moderation powers because of it (mostly renaming threads, I think I mentioned the likes thread to you before?). TL4s are like mini-mods, and then it goes up to mod and admin by appointment.

I love love LOVE Obsidian. He's one of my favorite characters to play against. He's older (in terms of been played longer) than Lance or Siegfried both, and Lance + Obsidian is one of my favorite pairs to throw into a situation. I know the feels. I have tried on several occasions to play quirky up-beat Manic Pixie Dream girls, generally very young and full of energy.... and it's damn exhausting after a scene or two >.> They need an off button! Vi's the only one I've kept for the long run, and I use her sparingly.

so Echo is easy to play, but his speech idiosyncrasies.... leak. I don't refer to myself in the third person habitually, other than for fun, and even then I use my name to speak in the third person.

It's jarring to switch conversations and start typing or speaking and refer to myself as "this one" or "one" and then finish breaking character and returning to my baseline.

Highly annoying.

in other news, good job spotting that Obsidian. not many call Echo out on that and i always find it interesting when they do.
