Yeah I dunno what happened, my tracking sheet clearly says Mileen has gone and [Redacted] hasn't, but that was trivially proven false.

So. Question. I just cast a spell that lasts for rounds. What do people think about the... fairness of counting rounds and using that to figure out our level? Is that too meta or just clever?

well..... that does seem rather meta.

i mean I suppose if the spell dissipates during combat and your character notes that I wouldn't object to a spellcraft check or something being used to figure out the "experience" a mage would need to make that particular spell alst that long.

that would move it from a meta knowledge to a character knowledge and thus be okay to use....

but of course i will defer to the GM, is their game nto mine. :-)

I'm inclined to bean @Cobalt with the baton (in a friendly way) as they are positioned to flank the newly aged raptor and possibly finish it off?

so i think i'll go with that unless someone has a good reason why someone else should go?

I think i'll give it 24 hours before i lock in my choice for who to receive the baton

Personally, I don't really care; ultimately things like "what level are we" are purely meta information anyway. Your character would get a sense of how powerful they are in relation to things, but you might not be able to suss out some of the info without some idea what level you are. So it's all the same to me if you do or don't count.
