Go Down

NPCs

Olocaryn, knowing the two females would take care to dress up, had decided to run counter to that. Instead, he'd put on simple slacks, a button down shirt (untucked and the sleeves rolled up), barefoot and shoulder length hair unbound. Despite the supposed slovenliness of that outfit, he manages to look more the 'comfortable lord at ease' than anything else. When Coquette does as she's been bid and leads Isabela to the private area of the manor, she finds him reclining a chair in front of a fire with book in hand and a wineglass on the table next to him. "Belladonna, you look ravishing," he says with clear pleasure at her arrival. "Come, sit. Pet, wine for our quest."

Coquette Blacquin

"Of course, my lord," she says, withdrawing to fetch the wine as she is bid.

Isabela

"I love what you've done with the place," purrs Isabela, glancing around.
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

NPCs

Aside from the fireplace- purely an affectation, given the climate Jalzaid enjoys- the room has several bookshelves on the wall across from the fire, a trio of portraits of elven men that resemble Olocaryn (presumably ancestors) and a modest but well equipped bar that Coquette is at. The floor is thick, luxurious moss green carpet and the furniture are dark brown leather consisting of the sofa Olocaryn is in, a love sit facing the sofa and a footstool. "Thank you. I like the Jalzaid custom of creative theming for rooms, but I will admit to feeling the need to have a few... simple rooms such as this to relax in." Most of his attention is on Belladon as she moves to sit, but he never ignores Coquette, careful to note her every move.

Coquette Blacquin

Coquette hesitates only a moment in choosing the appropriate wine for the evening -- too expensive and she'll be punished for wasting the good stuff, too cheap and she'll be punished for under-serving their guest. She errs on the side of expensive; if the guest wasn't important, she wouldn't be involved.

Isabela

"True. The houses are so much larger than Nyra -- it's almost a shame we'll be heading back in only three days time."
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

NPCs

Olocaryn frowns slightly. Three days? "So soon? You've barely been able to get even a taste of what Jalzaid has to offer," he says with dismary. That will... hmmm. I had not wanted to act openly, not when it is my public reputation and safety on the line but... damn. I shall have to adjust my plans. Perhaps... yes, either way, I shall have to speed things up. Let us see how this unfolds... Eyes flicking to the returning Coquette, he makes a slight hand gesture, one she's been well trained to respond to without question.

Coquette Blacquin

Already? wonders Lady Olocaryn, but she obediently places down the tray, pulling the carefully positioned tie to let herself out of the gown. Underneath, she wears nothing but rope: a silver braid, tied just so to accent her elven features. She picks the tray back up, making her way back into the main area.

Isabela

"Alas, my husband's work rarely lets him get away for long. Already he's in a sour mood, thinking of the mess that awaits him."

Isabela's mouth continues on as her eyes fall on Coquette, but she doesn't tear them away to look at Olocaryn again. Small, but lovely. And damn does she look like Zevran! I have to admit, I expected her to be more... Glalian.
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

NPCs

"Ah, yes, work. Always the burden," Olocaryn says with a smirk. "Such a shame one such as yourself has found herself... restricted by such things. Still... I hope perhaps I can make your time here.... memorable?" Still smiling that pleased, edged smile, he leans forward a little as he takes takes the fresh wineglass. And then rather smartly slaps Coquette on the ass.

"Good girl," he murmurs when she doesn't flinch, the other glass not spilling a drop. "Pet here enjoys some... interesting games. Don't you pet?"

Coquette Blacquin

"Yes, Master," she says instantly, with a wicked grin that doesn't reach her eyes. "I enjoy games very much."

Isabela

"Splendid," purrs Isabela, taking her glass. "What's your safeword, then?"
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

NPCs

Safeword? How quaint. "Glaley," he says smoothly, saying the first thing to come to mind. "We rarely bother with that sort of thing these days, to be honest, as I know her limits so well. But good of you to ask, of course. Do you have one as well?"
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

Isabela

Not one I'm sharing. "I can remember that one," she says easily. "I usually find it's better to play by house rules."
"Our mistakes make us who we are"

NPCs

"Glaley it is then," Olocaryn says lightly. "Care to... have a bit of appetizer?" he offers, tone almost polite as he gestures at his wife.
