[NPCs]

Wynne and Lelldorin exchange a look, then she nods, slowly. "Yes. If nothing else, she has said 'Carver and his sisters' with a plural there, more than once. So... there is that much to take comfort in."

"I have already put forth a suggestion to the Doctor," Lelldorin nods at zi'Smith, "that once we identify the devil that is masterminding this, that Nyra put forth a full raiding party to the Hells in order to destroy the devil and thus free those we can." A raid of that magnitude would be a massive undertaking, requiring either heroes of legendary power or over a hundred powerful adventurers. Or sometimes, both.

[Carver Amell]

"I'm in," says Carver immediately. "And I can put word out. We'll need to wait, though. The Guard is overloaded right now, and they're calling in their contacts as well, so we'll be hard pressed to find enough skilled combatants until that's handled."

[GamesMaster]

zi'Smith nods. "Time is of the essence, but if we bring too few fighters, we could end up worse off than before."

[NPCs]

"Quite so," Lelldorin allows. "I have already sent out word, quietly, to some of my old colleagues and work associates."

"I as well," the Warbound rumbles. "A lot of us have made Oaths against devils and some will leap at the chance for such a large blow to be made." And others will simply wish to take part in such an unusual battle.

[Bethany]

"Is she safe?" Beth winces, blushing slightly at our blurted words. "I just... Leandra. Is she... safe to speak to?"

[Carver Amell]

"Beth..." says Carver, softly. I'm not sure that's a good idea yet, but... Gods, I want them to get along. 

[Bethany]

"I'm not- I can't ever forget all she's done to us, Carver. But... if she sold her soul, then... then... I can at least be kind," Beth whispers, eyes on the table. "See if... see if there's anything to..."

[Carver Amell]

"Yeah," he agrees. "If you're up for it. I think she'd like to see that you're safe. I... She can be hard to deal with, sometimes, but I'll be right there with you."

[NPCs]

"She's to be kept restrained, more for her own safety than yours," Wynne says quietly. "But yes, you can speak with her. Just keep it short and try not to agitate her."

[Carver Amell]

"Should we... tell her about Marian?" he asks, quietly. "I haven't, yet, except, I did say both of you were safe."

[NPCs]

"...I think it's fairly clear she is aware that Marian is alive. I suspect the devil made sure of that, if nothing else. And likely twisted the story to suit itself. Giving the truth- edited if you please, thank you- will likely help and should not do any harm." Wynne shrugs a little helplessly. 

[Carver Amell]

"I just... I didn't want to... set her back. In case this was a, a hallucination again. Or a, what did you call it, a delusion. I didn't want to... validate that."

[NPCs]

"No, of course not. Prior to this... event, confirming Marian's survival without Marian herself ready to met with Leandra would have been a poor choice." Wynne offers Carver a faint but warm smile. "You have done splendidly with her, Carver. Truly."

[Carver Amell]

He gives a small, relieved smile. "I only pray Vangal guides me toward helping her further," he says, modestly. 

[Bethany]

Beth snorts and pokes him in the ribs.  "Don't get a big head, brother dear."
