The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

Go Down

Haliel Lightsong

Haliel goes very, very still aside from her suddenly widening eyes.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

Marian pulls back, then, looking at her toes. Idiot! She's straight! "Sorry, sorry, I'm so sorry, I won't, I'm sorry, I'll just, I'll just get dressed and go, I'm sorry,"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

"You kissed me?" Haliel asks blankly, trying to figure out if that really happened. I... got kissed? By Marian? I thought... that was... I got kissed?
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"I'm so sorry, I'll just," she stammers, grabbing her tunic. The leggings and panties aren't necessary, really. She pulls it on over her head. Stupid! Alydrans don't care but Asteans do, maybe Bastionites do too. You should have asked!
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

Lightsong shakes her head then, trying to focus. "Wha- wait, where are you going? I- did you not want to- I am very confused." Normally very serene, the tone of uncertainty, no, the note of almost pained unease is very jarring in the aasimar's voice. "Marian, w-what happened?"
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"I-- I'm sorry, I'm a, I'm a deviant, I'm, no, sorry, sapphic, the word is sapphic, for what I am, it's... it's natural, they tell me, but, if you're offended I, I'm sorry." she stammers
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

"Sapphic? Is that- like a sapphire?" Yeah, evidently Lightsong never got that lesson. "I am not- I don't- offended? I just I don't understand what- what just- you were upset and staring and then kissed me and then you- and now you're running away and I thought- what did I do?"
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"I-- No, I-- Sapphic is, um, a female that, um, you know... loves... females." She swallows. "I. Um. You're very. Pretty."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

That gets Haliel's intense focus. "Love? You... love me?" she asks in a timid voice.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

"I-- I mean-- I'm-- interested in you," she stammers. "I m-m-might, I don't-- it's-- you're-- I want you."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

Oh. Might? Interested? Want? "Wait- is this about sex?" she asks abruptly, brow furrowing, a ball of dread and hurt starting to form in her stomach.
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

Pain fills her eyes and Haliel wraps an arm around her stomach. "Oh," she says dully. She just... is that all she... Did she ever even like me? Consider me a friend? Ray Twinstream warned me about people that would be nice in order to get sex but... I didn't understand...
I am the Light of My Soul.

Marian Hawke

And there it is -- the disgust, the repulsion. "I'm sorry," she whispers. "I really did like you. I... I'll miss your friendship, but I understand if you can't... can't... someone like me. Please take care of yourself."

Lump forming in her throat, she turns and rushes for the door, leaving her leggings and smallclothes behind.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Haliel Lightsong

Haliel stares for a few seconds, confused. Did like me? And she- I don't see a hint of a lie so- "Marian, wait!" she shouts, rushing after her.
I am the Light of My Soul.
