The Amell Legacy: Transgressions

[Varric]

"Your sister went walking around in Coalside to met her crush, Soushi-hime," Varric offers. 

[Marian Hawke]

"I mean, you know I got expelled," Marian points out. 

[Helene Dakesh]

Again, Helene looks startled. "This one did not realize you spoke to Varric about it."

[Marian Hawke]

Marian shuffles a bit. "Yeah, well, there it is."

[Helene Dakesh]

Helene sighs. "Apprentice Hawke, this one knows you are of age. If you wish to leave my service so badly--"

[Marian Hawke]

"What?" She blinks. "Who said I-- what?"

[Helene Dakesh]

"You seem to prefer Varric to a large degree. This one will release you so that you can apprentice yourself to him if you wish."

[Marian Hawke]

"I-- I'm not looking to become Varric's apprentice!" blurts out Marian, clearly shocked.

[Helene Dakesh]

Helene pales, then glances at Varric, seeming to put two and two together to get fourteen. "Ah. I see. Please excuse my assumptions. This one will check on Beth and Soushi now." She turns away.

[Varric]

"Hey Seeker, mind if the rest of the class can read the chapter too?"

[Helene Dakesh]

Helene swallows. "This one will not stand in the way. This one wishes you both the best of luck but this one must really... this one did not realize. That is all."

[Varric]

"...she just said she doesn't want to be my apprentice," which admittedly stings a touch to hear so baldly, "so I have to admit to being confused about what you're not in the way of here."

[Helene Dakesh]

Helene glances to Marian, turning away. "My mistake," they say, quickly. "I must have misheard."

[Marian Hawke]

And then Marian's eyes widen. "I only date girls! Girls!" 

[Varric]

"What."
