Tanna

Tanna laughs wickedly. "Oh my yes, I was thinking about it all night," she admits, eyes dancing. "But your boon."

Marian Hawke

I shouldn't-- it was a mistake, to use her face. To look like her. It was... it made me feel... I shouldn't have done that. I should tell her no. I should... I shouldn't be a slave, I should be able to say no. But... but we're not talking about it now, just hinting. So, I'll say no, just, later. When she brings it up again. But I can say no, whenever I want. It's just awkward right now.

"Honestly, I'm not sure what to ask. Your surprises have been so good, so overwhelming, I haven't had a lot of time to daydream."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

Tanna pouts a little. "Well..." She hums softly, thinking. "Aha!" Pushing Marian off her, she slips out of the bed, swaying over to her nightstand. "This isn't your boon but rather..." She rummages around for a moment, then turns, holding a pair of thick books. "Inspiration."

Marian Hawke

Marian sits up, some small part of her whimpering, feeling bereft of touch instantly. She ignores it. "What's that? Another book?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"Two books," Tanna corrects her. "The top one is a banned Cirenite book- too extreme," she says with an eyeroll. "The second is another book on tantric rituals, though this one is more how-to rather than principals like the one you read before." She holds them out to Marian, a proud smile in place. "They're for you. A gift from your Lady."

Marian Hawke

"Thank you," she says, warmly. "I'll keep them safe and secret, don't worry. I'm sure something in here would work for a boon."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

Tanna beams at Marian, setting the tomes on the nightstand. "Good. I'll feel better after you- well. I want you to pick something you'll really enjoy, no matter what anyone might think. I promise I will not judge you for it, okay?"

Marian Hawke

Marian nods. Pick something extreme, something impressive. Something she'll be proud of me for. "I should get back soon," she adds, regretfully. "I want to have time to read before I have to meet my friend for dinner."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"Shower first?" Tanna suggests, giving the soiled merikos elf a pointed glance. "But that does lead us back to the other thing I needed to ask you about. The friend you just mentioned- you've mentioned her before. Is she... her?"

Marian Hawke

"Is... what?" she asks, blinking.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"Her," Tanna repeats patiently. "The face you had me wear? Is your friend her?"

Marian Hawke

She blushes. "O-oh! Um, yes. I'm staying with her now."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

Marian Hawke

"You... what?"

Marian blinks, a sinking feeling in her stomach. Lightsong is not going to like Tanna. She's going to be disgusted by the things I do. She...

"I... guess we could have lunch or something?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Tanna

"To start," Tanna agrees with a leer.
