[Zevran]

"She had a flashback," Zevran confirms softly. "And I am almost certain that her fiendish half is from a linen."

[Isabela]

Isabela blinks, then snickers. "A what now?"

[Zevran]

He looks flustered for a moment. "Is... is that not how you pronounce that? The sexy devils?"

[Helene Dakesh]

"Lilin," corrects Helene. 

[Zevran]

"Ah. Yes." He clears his throat. "She had a flashback. And I am almost certain that her fiendish half is from a lilin."

[Haliel Lightsong]

"Like Tanna," Haliel says quietly. "Merciful Love," she mutters, eyes closing for a brief instant. That is not going to help her recovery.

[Isabela]

"Flashbacks are... challenging," says Isabela slowly. "I suspect the method I know of to get through them will not work for her."

[Varric]

"Never know-- could work, could be inspiration for something that'll work."

[Isabela]

"The solution I heard of was to overwrite the bad memories with good, overriding every bad touch memory with something better, something more extreme. But uh. That's not likely to work for her, given... well..."

[Varric]

"Ah. More extreme does seem... unlikely," Varric allows. "And memory magic can be... tricky stuff. Thoughts?" He glances at Helene at that last.

[Helene Dakesh]

"Memory magic would be unwise in this situation. There is too much to remove, and it is too traumatic," confirms Helene. 

[Varric]

"Yeah, that's what I figured," Varric says with a sigh. "At best, we could maybe... fuzz over the memories, dull them so the details are lost."

[Helene Dakesh]

"Trauma may have done that already," admits Helene, gently. "Query: should the apprentice be... grounded somehow? Is it... safe?"

[Zevran]

"Absolutely not. Grounding, I mean," the ex-slave says instantly. "She needs this. Needs a release that isn't tainted. Her body craves sex even more that it used to and she had a very healthy libido before. But her trauma..."

[Varric]

Didn't want to know that thanks (needed to). "So we just have to be watchful. And maybe next time she can wear clothes and I'll fly with her."
