"Adonis Noaidi," he purrs, with the casual ease of someone used to heavy drinking.

"Solras, Daughter of Umdor, Son of Gimrigg, Son of Rangrom who slew the dreaded Balrog of Tydren's Keep, Keeper of the Green Lady's Treasure, Exile in Mourning, and Elder Private of the Watch"  A pause, That was impressive to rattle alll that out without a hint of hestation or slur. "That's a really long one isn't it...?" Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch giggles slightly "Tell you what, call me Solras Palutena... That will work well enough, unless we're in a formal situation anyway."

His eyes widen slightly. "So soon? Alright, then, Solras Palutena." 

[Solras, The Protector]

Now Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch is puzzled "So soon what?" She gets the feeling that she should recognize the surprise, and has the vague feeling that she should be shocked at the use of the shortest and most private of her names... But right now, it's just not connecting. Maybe this is why so many dwarves drink so heavily?

"In Catfolk culture, it is a great honor to be given permission to use a short name for someone."

Oh. so it's a catfolk thing, not a dwarven impropriety. That makes sense.... Unless it's also that too?

"Oh, well if you prefer you could use the long form anyway. it's not that hard to say after the millionth time."

"No, no-- it's no trouble. In our culture your short name would be something like Sol anyway. One or two syllables."

[Solras, The Protector]

"hmm......." Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch mutters while thinking. "'Soap'" she eventually deglares, making an anagram from the first two pairs of letters in her short name.

He snickers. "You want me to call you Soap?"

[Solras, The Protector]

"Uh..... no. that's.... too informal........ Sorry..."

Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch  shakes her head trying to clear her head. Why did she even blurt that out anyway?

He laughs. "Nothing to worry about. How about we stick with Solras?"

", Daughter of Umd..." She begins to correct automatically before stopping and blushing "Sorry......"

"I can do the title if you want, but I'd like to get to know you better," says Adonis, tail swaying.

"Uh.... No, that won't be necessary..... It's just habit...." Solras Palutena looks around and... turns out she's rather cute when she isn't on high alert. "sorry."

"You're cute," he says, smirking.
