Solras, The Protector

Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch turns to face Don directly and makes the dwarven sign against evil. So, yes cute, and well on the way to being drunk, but that is still completely off the table.

GamesMaster

Adonis blinks. "What's that supposed to mean? I don't do sign language."

Solras, The Protector

"I told you, I don't do that." Well that's a firm statement, and clearer than the sign anyway.

GamesMaster

"And?" he blinks. "Kittens are cute, and kits, and baby bunnies, and I don't do that with any of those."

Solras, The Protector

Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch looks suspiciously at Don, It's pretty clear from her expression that she's met people before that have tried to convince her of the error of her ways. She is not interested in reconsidering her decisions.

"As well you shouldn't." she's suspicious, and wary, but not running away... yet.

GamesMaster

"Tell the truth, it's not like I'm interested outside my heat. Most of us aren't. Willing, sure, if the price is good. Interested? Nah."

Solras, The Protector

Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch relaxes somewhat at that, but also looks puzzled. she knows how the birds and the bees work for other dwarves who do... that... but she hasn't learned about the birds and the bees for other species. Why would she when there's no chance it will be relevant to her interests at any point?

But now that the topic has been raised, there is a sort of professional curiosity.

GamesMaster

"Something on your mind?"

Solras, The Protector

Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch shakes her head.

"Nothing worth pursuing. Just thinking about football and butterflies."

It's not that she doesn't have intellectual curiosity about the mechanics, but she's learned that to express that makes people assume she wants practical demonstrations, and has lead to a couple of instances where the other person needed medical attention because they couldn't get the idea of 'no' through their thick skull without a dwarven hammer helping it along.

Also, there are far more interesting topics of discussion. Like plants. Plants are always fascinating and worthwhile to talk about.

GamesMaster

"Butterflies." Don snorts. "If you have questions, just ask. I'm not going to attack you for being curious. Lots of people are curious."

Solras, The Protector

A wave of the hand, dismissing the topic entirely

"I think I will refrain from asking regardless. Experience has shown that that topic of conversation is not productive. Why don't you suggest a topic to continue with instead?"

GamesMaster

"Alright," he says, shrugging. "You said football -- who do you prefer in the Mage Bowl?"

Solras, The Protector

"Well i think Sir Panis is a pretty good bet. I expect they'll be able to take the Waterspouts all the way to the Florence Field" Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch states in her usual monotone. Naming a famous, or perhaps notorious given some of the rumors, a sailboat racing team, and a track and field arena that does not have a football ground.

GamesMaster

Adonis laughs, then, an honest laugh, surprised by her wit. "You're good."

Solras, The Protector

"Really? I'd never noticed." Solras, Daughter of Umdor, and Elder Private of the Watch asks with possibly the worlds greatest poker face, either that or she really doesn't notice wit like that?
