When it comes to blows, Solras and Wylde find themselves far more alone than they would have hoped. Only one of the men stand with them, and he's indecisive about it, wavering to the point of near uselessness. On the other hand, being loud saves their bacon; several of the cats from outside burst in, ready to fight to defend their tribeswomen from assault. This allows the pair to get the upper hand at last, weary and beaten, as they tie the corporal up and arrest him.

Solras, The Protector

Solras the Protector snaps out orders "Wylde, see to these men. Make sure they're thoroughly disarmed. I don't want so much as an overlong toenail that they could use to hurt themselves, others, or affect an escape before we drag them in front of the Captain. When you've done that, patch their scrapes and bruises as best you can. James, do what you can to set the furniture to right, and clean up our mess. We'll have them send a bill for repairs to the watch, care of Elder Private Solras, the Protector. Terry, check the civilians that came to our aid. Give them first aid if they need it, thank them for their assistance, ask them, nicely, for a statement, and then let them go, whether or not the agree to giving a statement. They helped us here, let's be helpful in return. I'm going to try to find the proprietor of this place and get a rundown of what's been going on here when these disgraces to the uniform visit." she then pauses for a moment before bellowing "MOVE!" to get the shocked guards moving on their way to follow the orders.

GamesMaster

The proprietor is a fat orange tom, one who falls over himself thanking Solras. "Our girls sure appreciate it. Anything you need, in the future, on the house. Whatever your heart's desire may be."

Solras, The Protector

"Right now, my hearts desire is to make sure these men answer for what they've done while wearing those uniforms. Any statement or evidence you could provide of their actions not in keeping with the duty of the guard would help in that. As for anything above that, should I return for your more usual business, I would wish to be treated as any other patron, including being charged like any other patron."

GamesMaster

He wrings his hands. "I can't say as I've seen improper behavior before, ma'am," he says, regretfully.

Solras, The Protector

"No? You've seen them before, enough for them to have a 'usual', yes?" Curiosity, slight probing, not disbelief.

GamesMaster

"I can't say I have," repeats the proprietor with his accented Common.

Solras, The Protector

"I see. Well that is unfortunate. If I had evidence of graft, or injury to civilians, unwanted sexual advances, or the similar we could have a case for sending the perpetrators to hard labor for years. Without it the best we can hope for is a demotion or if we're really lucky expulsion from the guard." Please talk. I'm not one of them. I want to deal with them permanently.

GamesMaster

"They've been customers, with the special Guard discount," stresses the orange tom. "I haven't seen anything like that."

Solras, The Protector

"What special Guard Discount?" That's sharp words for Solras, the protector. there isn't any official discount, so this would be some form of graft or other corruption.... that would be good to know about.

GamesMaster

"We offer a half-off discount for guards. But you're free, of course, for what you did today," he stresses.

Solras, The Protector

"Right." That's not right, but this is not the time for that. "And they were patrons in uniform, on duty?"

GamesMaster

"In uniform, but I don't know that they were on duty. It is common to stop by at the end of a shift," he replies apologetically.

Solras, The Protector

"Hmm, well they were certainly on duty tonight, and visiting a house of negotiable affection is not an approved activity while in uniform in any case. Thank you. Please send any bills for repairs as a result of our altercation to the Guard, care of Elder Private Solras, the Protector. If there is nothing else, I will bid you good day and remove my squad from your premises."

GamesMaster

The proprietor bids her a good day, jotting down her name onto his list of those eligible for discounted or free services as she leaves.

As they head out, marching their prisoners toward the guard station, they run into a group of cats: Adonis, three of his friends, and a cream-colored long-furred feline they're frog-marching ahead of them.

"Solras, Daughter of Grimdor," he greets her, nodding. "We found the suspect you're after."
