The Midnight Prince

[Rokag]

"Don't know what, tho." Rokag shook her head. "He's an Eel, so anything that happens to him is just gonna get payed back worse. The only reason this worked out was because your mom was able to get him out of the room." She gave a long breath. I can't tell him about stabbing the man. Not right now. "He probably doesn't know we fixed this, so he's probably going to try and get you to do the same shit you were doing before...what WAS he actually getting you to do?"

[Shisou]

"W-w-w-w-work-k-king. B-b-b-but he int-t-t-t-trod-d-d-duced m-m-m-e t-t-t-t-to s-s-s-some f-f-f-f-riends...."

[Rokag]

"...We're gonna need help with this." Rokag looked down at one of her hands. "I..if he DOES figure out what he did to you was fixed, he's gonna just try it again, so you're gonna have to act like...well, like you were before."

[Shisou]

Shisou winces. "O-k-k-k-ay. B-b-b-but wh-wh-what is the p-p-p-p-plan?"

[Rokag]

"We need to find something that even HE can't get around. If we just try to fight him, he'll do something like THAT again. So either we need to make sure he can't do that again, or find some way to kick him off the islands. If it's something he did to himself, the Eels will just punish him and cut their losses." Rokag frowned. "Meaning we need to get something he actually did that someone who COULD banish him or something."

[Shisou]

"L-l-l-l-l-like w-wh-wh-what?"

[Rokag]

"Well...I don't know. He did something to your head and you're kinda the crown prince?" Rokag frowned. "I don't know, I just know that you'd probably like that idea over the easier one of just killing him."

[Shisou]

"I'm n-n-n-n-not th-th-the c-c-c-c-rown a-a--anyth-thing." He presses a hand to Rokag's belly. "Th-th-they a-a-a-a-are. I'm j-j-j-j-just th-th-their dad-d-d-d-dy."

[Rokag]

Rokag shuddered and moved.  "A-anyway, unless you know of some way of actually getting him to back off, we either need to get him kicked out of Toukami or kill him."

[Shisou]

"...m-m-m-m-ayb-b-b-e th-th-the l-a-t-t-t-er." Shisou's voice is quiet, his tone dark.

[Rokag]

"Which I..." Rokag sighed. "Fine. I did end up in a small fight with him, but he doesn't seem to remember it. That or he's waiting for the kids to be born to do something about it."

[Shisou]

"Wh-wh-while w-w-w-w-e w-w-w-w-were g-g-g-g-ett-t-t-ting r-r-r-r-r-eady h-h-h-he w-w-w-w-as t-t-t-t-talking sh-sh-shit a-b-b-b-bout y-y-y-y-ou. I st-st-st-opped h-h-h-h-him."

"And he...decided to mess with your head because of that?!" Rokag grit her teeth. I fucking wish I HAD stapped him again. "He's going to keep doing shit like this...you think Carbonne can teach you something to
fight that kinda stuff?"

[Shisou]

Shisou shakes his head. "C-c-c-c-c-carb-b-b-b-bonne isn't v-v-v-v-very g-g-g-g-ood a-a-at t-t-t-t-eaching m-m-m-magic."

[Rokag]

"...Fine, so we figure out how to get rid of Indou."
