The Midnight Prince

[Rokag]

Rokag lagged a moment before nodding. "Y-yeah. I'll head to check on Shisou. Don't go jumping at anyone else with pointed bits of metal towards you."

[GamesMaster]

"Yeah. Okay."

Then she slips off, out the back door into the garden. 

When Rokag gets to the back bedroom, he finds the door shut; pushing it open, he finds Shisou huddled in a ball at the bottom of his closet, a blanket pulled over his head. 

[Rokag]

Rokag reached a hand out, stopping just short of touching Shisou. "um...hey. It looks like Tsuki is gonna be okay."

[Shisou]

Shisou nods, wrapping his blanket a bit closer around himself. 

[Rokag]

Rokag gave another long sigh. He probably is mad I ran with Tsuki. "Look...sorry about that. I kinda...I wasn't sure what to do. I figrued that if I'd jumped in, it'd be worse and if Tsuki died, Sayna wouldn't ever forgive either of us and..." Rokag shook her head. "Fuck, I don't know. That was probably fucking stupid to be worried about anyway. Look, can I just...check and make sure you're okay?"

[Shisou]

"I-i-i-i-i'm n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-ot..." He sighs, giving up the sentence. "C-c-c-c-c-can't g-g-g-g-g-get h-h-h-h-h-healed s-s-s-s-ss-s-s-s-s-s-s-so n-n-no l-l-l-l-l-late n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-ight stt-t-t-t-tuff f-f-f-f-ffor a wh-wh-while."

[Rokag]

"But I can see if there's something to bandage. Or...anything broken?"

[Shisou]

He hesitates, then nods. "R-r-r-r-rib."

[Rokag]

Rokag nods and sits next to him. "Let me see." She frowned a little as she prepared herself to see exactly how bad Shisou was hurt. "...Why'd he think you had to do it?"

[Shisou]

"a-a-a-a-always b-b-b-b-b-b-blames m-m-m-me," he stammers as he lowers the blanket, lifts his shirt. It's clear from the bruising that one of his ribs is cracked; moreover, there are deep bruises all over his torso that will make his double life uncomfortable if he doesn't get them healed. 

[Rokag]

"Seems stupid rather than trying to figure out what happened." Rokag tutted a little as she moved to wrap the ribs. Too bad I don't know how to heal. Probably would make things easier. "But I guess it could be worse. How come you can't get these healed again?"

[Shisou]

"S-s-s-s-s-sup-p-p-pect. M-m-m-m-i-d-d-d-d-n-i-i-g-g-gh-t."

[Rokag]

"...Wait, but everyone KNOWS W...oh, you mean the other way around." Rokag sighed. "Alright, well, maybe we can ask Carbonne about fighting. I kinda get how swords work, but this shit's real difficult." She pokes a little at Shisou's tender side. "Does it pinch anywhere? Also if it suddenly starts really hurting, you gotta let me know so I can keep your ribs from killing you."

[Shisou]

Shisou nods, sniffling a little and wiping at his eyes. 

[Rokag]

Rokag couldn't help but raise a hand to Shisou's face. "Hey...I'm...I'm sorry I didn't just let Tsuki at him."
