Rokag

.... And there was that look again. Rokag was looking into her tea and her eyes seemed focused on something far away. "You...did a lot of this to help your kids, right? Even dealing with Indou?"

GamesMaster

"Of course. After they were born, everything I have is for them."

Rokag

"So...if something happened to them, you'd...do whatever you could for them, right?"

GamesMaster

Rokag

"So....if something happened to you...and you didn't know where they were. You would have...f-found them, right?" This is stupid and too much. She doesn't need to know this. NO ONE needs to... Yet, Rokag can only conintue, struggling to keep tears from forming. "Anyone would, right?"

GamesMaster

Kuronue's face softens. "Anyone worth the title of mother would never, ever stop searching for their baby if they were taken from them."

Rokag

"..." Rokag closed her eyes. "So then...the only reason you wouldn't have found them....would be bec-cause..."

GamesMaster

Kuronue sets down her teacup, reaching out to brush the backs of her fingers along Rokag's cheek. "I'm afraid so."

Rokag

"......oh" It was a small sound. It was weird that Rokag could even MAKE a small sound, but there it was. She could only barely keep the tears from coming. It shouldn't matter. It was years....I knew that had to have happened. Her breath becomes shaky as she keeps her eyes closed before speaking something in an odd tounge. It was rough and harsh sounding, but seemed full of pain. <Orc>"I'm sorry I didn't stay home" </Orc>

Kuronue moves over to a seat to the side of Rokag, pulling her into a hug and gently stroking her head. "It's okay," she says quietly. "It's okay. You'll be okay."

Rokag

Her shoulders shake as she cries. "I...she was...but she was so strong. She just n-never seemed like she could..." Rokag hadn't ever let herself think about what it meant...and now she couldn't. The idea that her mother could be...gone. "I-i don't even kn-now where she was from!" Rokag starts to lean against Kuronue, crying in earnest.

GamesMaster

"Tell me about her?" asks Kuronue, stroking Rokag's hair.

Rokag

"She was b-big." Rokag tried not to let her crying get in the way of her words. "She smelled of a warm fire, kinda like those ovens people would make treats in. S-she was also really strick, but only on...things that were important?" She sounded like that was more of a guess. "I...n-never got to ask her why."

GamesMaster

"Was she an orc like you? Or human?"

Rokag

"A-an orc. She...I don't remember everything, but she was an orc and had a scar across her face. That's how I knew she was really strong...and some of the stories she told me before she....before we got separated." Rokag gritted her teeth as she failed to keep more tears from falling.
