"Do you know her name?"

[Rokag]

Rokag took a few moments before she could speak. "C-chandra. I...There's so much out in the lake of Tokami, I thought...someone would have an idea. And it was better than starving through another winter."

[GamesMaster]

"I don't know a Chandra," says Kuronue, "but that means little, of course. What was her family name?"

[Rokag]

At that, Rokag sagged. "I don't know...or I don't remember. She said that I would...be given our name when we went back, but that day never came."

[GamesMaster]

"Back?"

[Rokag]

Rokag gave a nod. "She wasn't from Tokami. She said she was here for something important and that we'd go back....and I know she wouldn't just..." She shook her head. "She didn't go there. I know that much."

[GamesMaster]

Kuronue nods. "The only way she'd leave here is if you were gone irrevocably."

[Rokag]

"I...that night I wasn't supposed to be gone, but....she would have looked."

[GamesMaster]

"Of course she would have."

[Rokag]

"G..good." Rokag took another shakey breath. "I...don't know what happened to her. I never found out, but she said that she was the only person allowed back home and if there were other people there it wasn't safe...so I left. It was a.....it was several seasons ago."

[GamesMaster]

"I'm sorry, Rokag." 

[Rokag]

"I...don't think you could have caused it. I may not remember her well, but I remember feeling like...she couldn't lose. I never saw her fight, but I just felt it."

[GamesMaster]

"Everyone can lose. I was a spitfire in my youth, but now... Everyone loses. Perhaps she tangled with the Eels."

[Rokag]

Rokag shuddered. "She...I" She looked away. "I...hope that isn't what happened....but I don't know what did. She couldn't have...."

[GamesMaster]

"Perhaps we can have a divination done, to find out? You carry her blood and her grandchild -- it may be possible to find out what happened to her."
