Jamie nods, hesitant. "My mom never did anything like that," he admits, "not even yelling, really, just... stern. She didn't spank us, but we hated to be grounded or anything. Steve threatened to spank me a few times but he never did. And Dad wasn't there."

"I can get laud when I'm angry but I'll never hit you in anger. I love you, I'll neve intentionally hurt you with out you asking for it first"

"Why would I ask for it?"

"If you were to break pack law and punishment is required you can request your mate punish you instead of the alpha, but given I'm both for you Dixon would punish you, there's also the whole bdsm thing"

"WAit, what are the pack laws?" Now he looks a bit frightened.

" the ruels are as follows:

7. A direct order from your alpha May only be disobeyed when following it would threaten your physical or emotional safety
8.sexual touching with out consent is prohibited
9. Turning someone with out the consent of the alpha and the person you wish to turn is only prohibited in a life or death situation where you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they would choose to live.
10. The use of illicit substances is forbidden on pack land except In ceremony
11. When you are in the land of men you will obey their laws
12. In cases of territory desputes, or greater conflict, all prisoners are to be treated with care and kindness.

I run through my head again to make sure I haven't missed anything. "Those are the big ones. There's some smaller ones like don't steal, if you need something ask for it, and attempt to settle conflict through mediation before a dule."

Jamie nods, looking thoughtful. "It sounds like a lot, but... most of it isn't stuff I want to do anyway. Um. What's an illicit substance?"

"Drugs and alcohol"

"So you can't drink on pack land? What counts as pack land?"

[Toby]

"Anything in our scent bounds.  Geographically speaking that's waniyack forest which incompuses  the long hall, the cabin, and this grove here. It's around 40 square miles give or take a few"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Oh. So not in town or anything?"

[Toby]

"Well you're underage right now. But once you're 21 you can drink in town. We're just outside the city limits. You rember the access road we went in at the edge of the park to go camping? That's the border line."

Jamie nods. "Okay. Where do the tigers hold territory?"
