Go Down

Kiarie

Then we must wait no time " I say simply " let us go quickly"

Nicholas Beaumont

I take Kiarie through more back alleyways and such, counting down the minutes before reaching the castle's gates. "Alright. We're here. Now to get in..." I tap my finger on my bottom lip thinking about all the different entryways of the property before setting off to the south entrance.

Kiarie

I am swift and graceful in the water moving upstream easily. As I swim I plan my attack. My nails and teeth are sharp but I'll need my spines for the fight I'm sure.

Nicholas Beaumont

I sneak through the castle's south entrance. I see Kiarie's lithe body move through the water and something stirs deep within my groin. I shake that feeling off and motion for him to follow me inside. After I hear him behind me I direct him to the throne room.

"Freeze, intruder!" The hall guards. Perfect. I reach for my sword and pale in the realization that I was without it. I noticed Kiarie stepping forward.

Kiarie

I smile a Farrell grin. My sharp teeth glinting in the lamp light. "Hello meet" I chirp happy to have a proper meal before me. The motions is swift. Two large sharp bones burst through my flesh and I pull them free one is sharp like a spear the other blunt and rounded like a mace.

I work the two in tandem pricing his gut and cracking his skull. I bite down on his throat as a final kill and and taste the soft flesh of man before offering the blood to my partner "drink, his strangth will aid or fight. Just tell me where to go and I shall place you on your throne. I shall fell all in your way"

Nicholas Beaumont

I look down at the skull Kiarie offers me and allow the once-dormant instincts of my kind to take over.  I relish every drop before realizing that the skull was now empty. I look back at Kiarie before grinning.

"I think we should pay my parents a visit. If I am correct, my father should be addressing the kingdom."

Kiarie

I nod "would you like me to hunt him or simply capture him and leave you the kill pretty one" I purr looking up from the gard who's flesh I was feasting on. I grin at him now seeing him look full and strong not the pretty little thing I pulled into my cave. Still pale but no longer starved. I too feel stronger after eating.  "Tell me now pet so I know weather to kill the shiny ones or just the ordinary folk"

Nicholas Beaumont

I think things over. If we were to kill my father and make a big scene, the people wouldn't be on my side. But if we were to let things continue it may be too late...

A deep anger rushes over me. No one has ever stood up for me. No one has ever truly been by my side.

That is, except for Kiarie.  I look down at him as he looks up at me waiting. I smile again.

"Capture him and my mother. Bring them to me. I wish... to 'speak' to them."

Kiarie

I wipe the blood from my face and stand tall before following him to a balcony where I can hear voices. It's a quick move knowing my legs are more uses to being a tail. I toss my bone spire into the chest of an attendant and rush them. Quickly pulling my spear free and and turning the backwards momentum into a spin bring my club down hard of th gard who got too close. I then throw my sear once more at the queen pinning her dress in place and bringing my club around the kings neck.

"Back or I kill him first!" I shout backing up to the door.  It's a swift push and a grab of the queen ripping her dress as the three of us tumble through the door landing aty pretty ones feet.  "Got them" I grin slowly getting up only to flop on a chair and rub my legs "can you try to get any further pray to the water my legs are a better tail" I joke lightly

Nicholas Beaumont

I ignore the pleading and curses from my parents as I step over them. "Right. You need to be near water..." Kiarie looks a bit tired. I try and think fast. "There are warmer waters on the east side of this castle. It leads to the sea where- you know..." I quickly end my sentence.  No need to repeat the obvious.

"Let's get you there. But first..." I turn back to my parents.

"Nicholas, you wouldn't dare!" My mother cried out as I grabbed one of the guards' sword from the floor.  Their screams were cut short as flesh met the blade. I looked down and tutted at all the blood that covered my shirt. Ah well. I walk over to Kiarie. "Shall we?"

Kiarie

"no enemies may still lurk where you stay I stay.  Bring water here" I say matter of factly I know that humans have water in everything they own as even when I place them in my cove they are full of water though some must be waterf oft n so as not to dry

Nicholas Beaumont

My first idea may not be my smartest, but it's the best one we have at the moment. I look down at Kiarie, cramped in the largest bathtub in the castle. It's big enough for a man over 6 feet.  Just not seven.

I offer him an apologetic smile.  "My men are crafting something bigger. I do apologize that this is all we have on hand."

Kiarie

I smile at him flipping my tail "is good. But bigger means you can fit with me!" I say happily before trying to spin and getting stuck.

Nicholas Beaumont

"Oh! Let me help," I walk closer and grab him by his arms. I do my best to pull him out but it doesn't seem to work. Placing my leg on the side of the tub, I yank as hard as I can. Before I know it there's a splash and a low grunt. Upon opening my eyes, I realize that Kiarie's face is mere inches away from mine. I...somehow landed directly on top of him.

"Uh..." I say stupidly, trying to ignore the butterflies in my belly.

Kiarie

I chirp happily at being freed of the tub before leaning in closer touching my face to his. A shiver rolls down my spine as I touch his dry skin to my cool damp face. only those who are I'll are dry I think I know how to fix this I nuzzle him once more before quickly licking his face to help heal him of whatever may be ailing him
