A shiver runs through me as he nuzzles my face. I look down and pat my shoulder. The bullet hole that was there was now gone. I feel my face turn bright red. "Thank you." I cleared my throat and stood back up. "I see why our peoples' had a treaty." I chuckle and look around. Things were eerily quiet aside from the soft splashing. I frown. "Probably shouldn't let our guard down. The rest of my father's cronies will be showing up, I'm sure."
