Go Down

yamikuronue

She takes a deep breath. "I've... done something. It's not important what, but... it may be.... it might be the case that the dancer was hurt because of me. To send me a warning."

Hammer Sister

"...no, I still don't understand; why would someone deliberately injure a ballet dancer to send a warning to you specifically?" Rob's tone is one of confusion and curiosity.

And then the murders began.

yamikuronue

She glances away. "I've pissed off... someone very, very powerful. They've... there's been attempts on my life, and I can expect them to continue. This might be... a way of saying they can get to anyone at any time, to make me feel unsafe."

Hammer Sister

Wait, what?

"Attempts on your... but why? And who would you piss off enough to want you dead?"

And then the murders began.

yamikuronue

"I really shouldn't tell you." she says, softly, looking off toward the doors. "Just... I don't want to get anyone else hurt."

Hammer Sister

"I seriously doubt anyone's out to kill you... but just in case, I don't think you should be alone, not if you're genuinely fearful." Rob sighs; he's not usually one for random charity, but he can't ignore Erika's fears. In a way, it's thanks to him that she's involved in this whole affair. "Look... why don't we go back to my place? At least there, if anyone does come, they'd have to face me first."

And then the murders began.

yamikuronue

She makes a face. "No, it's... it's fine. It's probably nothing, you're probably right. It'll be fine. We'll meet up on Saturday?"

Hammer Sister

"Saturday," Rob agrees.

And then the murders began.

yamikuronue

T had it all planned out. The boxing ring only had one entrance: down some steps into what was once a storm cellar beneath a larger building. The entrance was perfectly visible from the park across the street, but someone in dark clothing nestled into the bushes could keep tabs on the place without being spotted for quite some time. Sure, it was damp and scratchy, but with two crowns less the cost of a sticky bun, a sausage, and admission to the local swimming pool in her pocket, she could afford a cup of coffee from the cafe down the street to keep her warm. Now all she had to do was wait and see if she could spy anyone who she'd seen her father with before he'd gone missing.

CalamityJade

Her 'companion' had been silent for a while, only perking up now and again when it seemed that they'd stopped. Though he was quiet for the start of her 'stakeout' until she could feel something a moment before she heard him. ~What is it that we're doing here?~ The voice had become a slight bit more pronounced since  her interaction with those...ghosts. Still, it seemed content to leave her alone when she asked.

yamikuronue

Waiting. Watching. Listening. Hoping to find some answers. T has gotten the hang of speaking silently to her companion; at least, he seems to hear her, so that works.

CalamityJade

~At a...this place is important?~ There was a hint of questioning in the normally neutral voice. Seemed like that was happening more and more. ~You're waiting for someone in particular.~

yamikuronue

Does it matter to you?

CalamityJade

~Since you're the only person I can talk to, yes, it does.~ There was a bit of a pause before it continued. ~I can get the fact that you're searching for something...well someone, but other than that I'd have to talk to you...also seems a bit rude to know that much, seeing how privacy is big for you.~

yamikuronue

Yes. I'm looking for that man who went missing. She sighs, shifting so a twig pokes into her butt less.
