She doesn't look like a drug user... but there's no way she can be serious.

"Let's say for a moment that ghosts exist; would you be able to show them to me?"

T sighs. "Probably."

Hey, Crys. Are there any ghosts nearby? Is that a thing you can tell?

[CalamityJade]

~Huh? Oh...well probably.~ He seemed to have tuned out of part of the conversation...though what else it could have been doing is questionable. ~I thought you wanted to avoid them.~

[yamikuronue]

Yeah, well, I might need to do a demonstration.

~Alright...um...oh!~ There was a faint hum that T could hear that seemed to be pointing towards the back of the bar. ~There is one ghost in that direction...I think it's actually behind the building you're in now.~

[yamikuronue]

"Want to see?" she asks, aloud.

[Hammer Sister]

"Lead the way."

And don't try anything funny.

T finishes her drink in a long swig, then slides off the stool. If there's anything you can do to help this thing manifest so this guy can see, please do, she adds silently to her partner, as she heads around the back of the building.

~Do you trust this guy? Because I'd have to...I guess brighten the area? The thing I did at the hospital. It made the ghost brighter and then I think you saw it, right?~ The back of the building was fairly trashy with a variety of stains, boxes and the faint scent of trash. Even in New Avalon, refuse still smelt like refuse.

No, but I don't trust anyone. We won't get his help if we don't show him a ghost, so I guess it's worth it. I'll pretend it's something I'm doing, though. Let's not give away our whole advantage just yet.

Looking around the alleyway, she digs the gem out of her pocket and cups it in both hands, humming softly.

~Right...oh, he probably can't hear me anyway~ The gem glows with a soft blue light that slowly fills the alleyway, revealing a crumpled form halfway behind one of the trash-cans. It seemed transparent and was only twitching now and again. ~This one is really dim, so I didn't realize it was here till you asked...it might also not be dangerous.~

T moves a few steps closer, holding up the gem like it's a light source. "Yup, that's our ghost."

Rob watches as T goes through her routine.

Well, the light show's not bad...

That's a lot of light coming from that thing...

OK, this is getting weird...

And now I see a ghost.

"That is either a really impressive trick, or that really is a... Anyone you know?"

She shakes her head. "I just sensed one out here. Hey, kid? Can you hear me?" T moves closer to the form, peering under the jewel to try and make out age or gender.

Rob moves closer too, though he cautiously hangs back a bit behind T.
