"Well...I want you to trust me because we're family...but you don't even know me that well..." He scratches his chin. "I guess you can trust me...because I came out here originally to kill you. That was before I actually talked to you and I thought you...weren't Lance, but that's what all this was about." He gestured to the tattoos on his wrist that Lance knew were just the edges of what covered most of his torso.

Lance remains silent, staring out at the horizon, turning things over in his mind. Finally, he speaks, his voice soft and sort of distant.

"I don't know why I hate her, so it must be... him who hates her so much. I don't recall what happens when I'm fully shifted, but I've gotten good at partially shifting, and I do retain my own mind then. When Siegfried was shot... I must have changed fully."

That's right....he DID partially shift before when they were fighting. That must be how he does his...evening activities. "Then I'm guessing it's only ever a problem on the full moon, then." Thought that DOES lend some validity to what Julie was saying. "You think it's because she's a werewolf? Wolves are supposed to be territorial."

Lance shakes his head. "I don't know. It's not like he can talk."

"...acutally, it would seem like he can...at least it was either the wolf or you momentarily taking over." Obsidian scratched his chin. "But you don't remember anything about that night."

He shakes his head. "He talked to you?"

[CalamityJade]

"Well...there was a shout of "No! Stop!" when Echo was trying to approach Siegfried. And it wasn't anyone else there." Obsidian sighs. "So...how HAVE you been handling that thing?"

He looks away. "There's a very strong lock on the dojo door, and a good one on the bedroom door as well. I don't go out on the full moon, only when I can control myself better."

"...huh." Obsidian scratched his head. "So...wait, CAN you control that thing?"

[yamikuronue]

He shakes his head. "It's a totally separate mind, one that tends to overwhelm me when I shift into his body."

[CalamityJade]

"...well, there's obviously SOME trick to it. Julie seems to have some way of working out this sort of shit so she's still in control. So, the trick is figureing out how she did it."

[yamikuronue]

"Fuck Julie. She won't listen to a word I say, and she's playing fucking mind games."

[CalamityJade]

"Then call her out on it rather than just letting some wolf in your head dictate how you're going to act. If he's pissed at her, then they have to settle that. You have a problem with her, then you make sure it's your own problem." Obsidian gave a bit of a sigh. "She thinks you're running from that wolf. That you aren't in control. I know that's shit, but if she can pull that shit off, you have to be able to."

Lance looks away, his fists still clenched, suspiciously silent.

Obsidian lets the silence hang a bit. "Because you don't know how." He sighs. "Look, I get being annoyed with her, but tell her that shit isn't alright. I've said as much, but what do I know. I'm not you and I've been in prison for about a decade. Stop just...ignoring it and thinking that makes things passible." There was another pause. "And don't fucking run away on another man's custom built motorcycle. Even IF I was planning on not following you that would have made me, you ass."
